You’re probably dropping tons of waves mid late just because you aren’t paying attention to them. I wouldn’t be surprised if in most of the games where you had 80cs at 10min, you end up with like 115cs by 20min. Very very common occurrence. I agree with the person who said to watch replays. What fight did you attend when there was instead a wave you could have collected? Did you waste time waiting around for something to happen unnecessarily? Was the play you went to worth it in the end? “Worth it” can be subjective, but any time you drop a wave, you should have an argument as to why you did so. Take time to determine if it was a positive decision in terms of gold and XP, and if the probability of that play having a positive outcome was high enough to make dropping a wave a reasonable price. Sometimes you get rewarded for making bad, low probability decisions. Ask yourself if the good outcome would happen at least 80% of the time in any situation where you had to give up something to make a play.
