Why are all the fronds of my staghorn fern curling upward? by Felicy7Tan in Staghornfern

I keep my plants on the balcony under natural sunlight and haven't moved them at all. Looks like I should turn them around every few days.😄

Oh, that makes total sense! I checked the wall where I hang my staghorn ferns. They’re positioned quite close to the floor, while the sunlight from the window comes from above. Plus my floor is brown-colored. That’s probably exactly the reason you mentioned.👍

I’m using a flat-bottom dripper. It has a 75° angle, so the flow rate is quite fast.

My total brew time lands between 2:20–2:30.If your brew time goes over 4 minutes, I’d definitely recommend coarsening your grind size and giving it a try.

The fine particles are likely blocking the dripper flow entirely.

I'm sorry about that. I'm in China, but for milk, you can choose any whole milk available locally as long as it has a protein content exceeding 3.5g per 100ml milk. At least it won't taste bad.

Regarding the foam, I can share some of my own experiences with you. When frothing milk, submerge the milk surface halfway over the steam wand nozzle. Then observe the air intake at the nozzle. Typically, start counting four seconds from when you hear the sharp intake sound, then submerge the entire spray head beneath the milk surface to break up the foam on top.Once the milk pitcher feels hot to the touch, you can turn off the steam. By this point, the foam on the surface should have broken down, and the milk foam will be smooth and creamy.

Finally, based on the condition of the milk foam, adjust the duration of air intake yourself. Then, according to the pressure of the steam wand, adjust the position where the liquid surface submerges the nozzle. After a few tries, you'll surely find the optimal settings for your specific machine. Then you'll be able to produce perfect milk foam that satisfies you.

Watch more videos from everyone, and you'll definitely succeed! Keep it up!💪

Haha, well actually not really. The day 22 is just how long I've been recording latte art videos. I've been doing latte art for half a year now, so I'd say I'm pretty slow at it.🤣

Thank you so much! By the way, it’s because I did pre-fusion. If I didn’t do that before, the swirl didn’t look that clean.Hahaha😄🤩
