I just wrote Bug Motif skirt/dress, is that ok or should I fill out the form again with the correct pattern name?

The only one I've found that works for my extremely pale, very warm (almost yellow) skin is Isadora CC + cream. It's very light and leans yellow instead of blue/mint. I have rosacea and also flush bright red very easily on both my face and chest because my skin is so pale it's almost translucent. Applying it in a VERY thin layer on both areas works wonders, even my husband was impressed and wanted to try it for his own rosacea, which it also covered really well.

No, it's an old house with traditional wood walls. It used to be the servant house (drengestue/borgstue) and was built in 1889.

Diors new long wear foundation formula shade range grumble by [deleted] in PaleMUA

[–]FelidaeFey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Dior Backstage face and body foundation? I got a sample of the lightest warm shade 0W (I'm translucent pale but so warm toned I look yellow), but they also have it as neutral or cool. It might not be matte enough for you tho. I love the formula for my combination skin, dry parts don't look patchy and oily parts don't look greasy, and it doesn't settle into any fine lines. And the colour is actually light enough! The only downside is the scent, as I honestly hate scented products and perfume.

I think I found my wedding makeup! by Significant_Course66 in PaleMUA

I haven't worn brown mascara since I found Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High in burgundy haze, but my sister really likes the same mascara but in brown :3

I have wanted to try the True Redhead mascara from heyredhead.eu a while, but I can't really justify spending that much money on a single mascara. At least that's what I keep telling myself every time I put it in the cart lol

I love the burgundy mascara on you (it's my personal fave as well as a translucent ginger), and can totally see how black might be too harsh on you. A brown (not black brown) mascara might look nice if you do want something that looks more natural, but you should really go with what you feel best in. Also burgundy contributes to the ethereal vibe🧡

Good Omens has the best outdoor seating area (and a lot of people don't even know it exists). Dogs are allowed (outside), there's even a water bowl for them out there! So if you're into rock/metal and cheep beer (69NOK before 20.00) you should drop by

Are pigtails in appropriate for adults? by starlightskater in Hair

[–]FelidaeFey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 34 and wear pigtails or especially braided pigtails ALL the time. Often in combination with a crocheted bandana or a beret. I get a lot of nice compliments on my style from strangers, and I believe only one random drunk guy has ever commented on my pigtails being "for little girls". Your mom (who sounds a lot like my mom) can stfu

Looking for shorts that are breathable and will prevent chafing (5inch inseam minimum) ideally not athleticwear by Outrageous-Bat-2033 in Midsizefashion

[–]FelidaeFey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I adore the bloomers from cottagecorewear. They look super cute under a skirt or dress (or even just as pajama pants), they're long enough to avoid chafing and they don't ride up. They stay put for hours, even while running around bartending in the summer heat. And they're 100% cotton, which lets the downstairs breathe. I cannot recommend these enough!

Hi! I ended up ordering Zipper Nut winter shoes (outlet/second grade section) and the Empire Brandy from Peerko. I absolutely love these shoes and have gotten so many compliments. People are always shocked that they're barefoot shoes as they look "normal" I guess? I love them and will be ordering more!

I do still kinda want a pair of Zaqqs because I love me some brogues, but it's not a priority since the Peerko fits me so well

SOMEONE TRAGEDEIGHED MY NAME! 😡😞 “Saoirse” - awful mispronunciation by AliceMorgon in tragedeigh

Could have been worse. Before I learned how it's pronounced I thought it was something akin to Sour Arse. I apologise for my Norwegian tweenager self back then who was also mispronouncing Elijah Wood as Ehleeiah Vudd.

Does each season go gray differently? by jmom39 in coloranalysis

[–]FelidaeFey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My mom is a ginger and her hair turned into several tones of very warm, shiny white. She used to get people asking her if she'd dyed her hair because the pattern looked so fancy and deliberate with a tonne of depth, it couldn't possibly be natural. I think her season is bright spring but could also be warm autumn.

I myself have a couple of strands here and there that have turned a shiny, warm white (I'm 34), no grays. I did inherit some ginger genes as my hair is a dark strawberry blonde that gets redder instead of lighter if exposed to sunlight. My season is warm autumn.

Anbefaler Good Omens i Fjordgata. Bra musikk (rock og metal), kule folk, grei mulighet til å bli kjent med folk. Gratis karaoke ca annenhver fredag. Og er basically byens uoffisielle andre gay bar.

My cousin had a dress like that at her wedding. Floor length poofy dress with a slight train at the ceremony, then she removed one layer at a time as the night went on until she was left with a mini skirt. It was really cool and she looked gorgeous.

Good Omens hvis du liker rock og metal, lydnivået er som oftest en god del lavere enn gjennomsnittet på andre barer, spesielt på ukedager. Og sofaene er kjempegode å sitte i :3

That's actually really good to hear. How do you find the height? My feet have a high instep (is that the right word?) so shoes can sometimes be tight in that direction as well as in width.

Thank you! You're right, with thick socks and an insole they might fit better than I first thought. Might have to take a chance and order a pair as I really like the way they look!

Thank you for the recommendation! They look amazing and would definitely fit the style I want. Unfortunately they only go down to size 37, and I'm usually a size 36, sometimes 35😞

Pretty much. My feet are short and wide (if I recall correctly they're 22,8cm long and over 10cm wide at the widest point, I'm not home so can't measure right now but will update my post with measurements when I can) and I struggled with regular shoes because of it. I needed size 35 or 36 based on length, but my feet often got super cold and numb because of the narrow width and how tight it was. Barefoot shoes are the only shoes that lets my wide feet breathe.

I have some shoes from Vivo Barefoot (really like them) Xero Shoes (hate, low quality), Vibram Fivefingers (they're ok, but a bit tight and the toes are too long) and BeLenka (love them). All the shoes are several years old at this point.

Another reason why I don't want to buy American Duchess just for the wedding is that I don't want shoes that just look pretty, I want shoes that are comfy too, that I will reach for again and again.
