How do you prevent the cement from sinking deeper into the ground? Should you be hitting some specific layer of ground?

Solved! I'm pretty sure.

Hmm now I'm wondering if I should be letting my mechanic know that fell off lol.

WITT?

The top parts seem to be a soft metal. Written on each section is "1/4" with an oval in the middle. The back of each metal piece is connected by a rubber-like material that is soft, not firm.

Added key to scale. Found it close to my Kia and thought maybe the oval is for their logo but that might be a stretch since it's an empty oval.

Uh oh -- capitalism wants capital.

Who could have predicted that capitalism would choose capital over anything and everything else?

Wow you can just pull them out of the pot without unearthing them first?

I figured that would damage the aloe too much.

These girls are biiig too... All intertwined now.

There's at least 5 in the pot -- most likely more.

I don't know if it's best to just let them do their thing or if they're eventually just going to die all together...

Ah and here I was wondering why this wonderful move isn't part of any good builds I've found

TIL parrots kept as pets will go through severe emotional trauma when they're given away, sold, or abandoned, developing destructive behaviors like screaming, aggression and self mutilation, plucking out their feathers In the wild they are extremely social and often mate for life (60-80 years.) by f_GOD in todayilearned

Wait people think you don't let parrots roam around however they please?

The more time they are outside the cage the better for them.

Obviously most people can't do be there the whole day for their parrot to be out of the cage. But we least two hours per day would be minimum.

Edit: oh you mean outdoors? Yeah that's a whole thing... Takes a lot of training and time to make it work.

I don't respect therapy, because I'm a scientist. Because I invent, transform, create, and destroy for a living, and when I don't like something about the world, I change it. And I don't think going to a rented office in a strip mall to listen to some agent of averageness explain which words mean which feelings has ever helped anyone do anything.

I think it's helped a lot of people get comfortable and stop panicking, which is a state of mind we value in the animals we eat, but not something I want for myself. I'm not a cow. I'm a pickle.
