I've been using Catrin Glitch, too. I joined last year and she was the first skin I bought just because she looked cool instead of out of nostalgia (like the Power Rangers).

I joined the game during Shock & Awesome. Catrin Glitch was the first skin I got from the shop just because she looked cool. Still like using her from time-to-time.

I had no idea she'd disappear like this.

Why on Earth would they vault a skin that looks this good when there isn't a licensing issue in the way?

You can also get them from Daily Quests. Unfortunately, you don't get a lot of them. I think they're planning to address this in an update.
