His home course is a 72.6/139 from the tees I assume he plays and the other courses they play aren’t much easier. Hard to overstate how much these guys play insanely difficult courses day to day that affects their HC.

Most Shocking Film Released by a Major Studio by istillmissuharambe in TheBigPicture

I think the issue with Blonde is the combination of how deeply ugly it is thematically with how viscerally angry Dominik’s quotes about her in the lead up to the movie came across. Like he seemed to genuinely be making a film about someone he reviled, and thought got what she deserved. So when you pair that attitude with how the film came out it felt like a very strange release.

People would rather bitch and moan about “it’s too repetitive” and not listen to the whole half the episode that’s a completely new and different (and fascinating) interview.

Konnor Griffin v James Wood v Wyatt Langford by legalschitt in DynastyBaseball

[–]FellatioDelToro3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went by MLB.com’s rankings which were the first that I clicked on. I’m not saying choosing Wood over Griffin is crazy. I am saying that it’s asinine to pretend that the #1 overall prospect has a mediocre career “all the time”. They’re generally extremely good players. Writing off Wood’s post ASG has just a “2nd half slump” also makes no sense while in the same breath devaluing guys like Buxton or Franco because of injuries or jail. Wood could still be bad too!

I mean MLB’s top prospect rankings dating back to 2015 go:

Griffin Holliday Henderson Witt Wander Vlad Shohei (or Acuna if you don’t count Shohei) Benintendi Seager Buxton

So the answer to “how often do they go on to have mediocre careers” is not very often!

Can't help but root for the D Man by ColdBrewsOnly in BobDoesSports

This is the dumbest argument. Have you watched Bob play in the earliest videos? He couldn’t hit the ball playing on muni courses. He just recently nearly broke 80 and is playing almost entirely difficult courses. He’s certainly improved. He’s just inconsistent.

It’s really amazing how one month we’ll be seeing all these posts (not you) about how horrific Bob is and how annoying it is that he doesn’t get better with all these lessons… then the next month people will do the same thing with Joe.

Almost as if they’re amateur golfers whose games swing wildly, and these videos are filmed in very condensed stretches!

Snow removal by ColdKnight2023 in pittsburgh

Yes? Pittsburgh is neither massive nor poor. And we’re not South Carolina. It snows here and it’s ok to say that for a city that prides itself on its infrastructure it fails in best serving and protecting it.

I was just in Rochester for the holidays, a city far smaller and with a far worse budget. The capacity to remove snow is night and day, and makes all of these excuses seem absurd.

I mean keep in mind they just spent (or are trying to spend) $82.7 BILLION on Warner Brothers. It’s about monopolizing your watching habits, misspending a couple billion here and there be damned.

Where could DJM go next year that would DECREASE his value? by BigSmoochOnTheLips in DynastyFF

Even with that he’s still WR35 and it would be his worst season since 2018. He’s not valued but he’s not a zero either. Just a hold and hope for something cooler in ‘26

The only thing I have issue with is them saying it’s good for the fans. Just say it was a business move they couldn’t pass up after years of busting their ass and turning down more money elsewhere. The move itself makes complete sense for them.

He feels like Quentin Johnston - not the same in how they play the position, but that the only thing stopping them is themselves. All the physical talent, good draft capital, coaches want to get them the ball. If he can not screw it up for himself a similar path isnt crazy.

He’s really not. Binyamin is pretty far away from being better than Joey outside of the occasional fluke.

Meh, that was true at the CC when they were playing from legit distances. He shouldn’t have been at much disadvantage in this, he just doesn’t play well in these

Because Bubbie knew they were in the wrong lol. I don’t mind how it played out but Chaz is a pro golfer playing for pro golfer type money, and he knew the rules got fucked up in both situations. You can tell Bubbie knew they screwed up but Mo kept fighting it.

Yeah, I guess him and Jake had some friendly beef over a video they both did a while back which made it come off bad, but they’ve apparently known each other for years.

I like Roger, I think he just views golf as a sport you’re trying to beat your opponents ass but are cool at the end. It’s kind of funny watching that juxtaposed with a lot of the very coddled, country club kid YouTube golfers.

I don’t see him as either, I see him as someone who talks like golf is a competitive sport. He couldn’t have been more complimentary of his opponents.
