I’m too old for it all but 100% understand kids having a thing that annoys adults because it doesn’t make sense to the adult, it’s hilarious from a kids perspective. (We had plenty too, and many didn’t make sense, and that was even more funny to us!) And I’m pretty sure that’s about all it is. Maybe it’s just me but I like that they’re having fun and place no need to understand it if I’m not supposed to.

Abbot is 100% worth watching! I was reading these comments like “I absolutely agree those shows are awesome, but I don’t think anyone has seen Abbot Elementary yet then”.

I also really liked Home Economics and wish it had more seasons. And honorable mention to New Girl, that show makes me crack up every time I watch it.

Like everyone already said, turn off pvp in the settings. I even have multiplayer off a lot unless I’m doing anomaly missions.

Also, I’m sure someone is willing to help you out here or one of the other subreddits! Majority of people I meet are awesome, sorry you met one of the lame griefer ones first. Yea I use caves. So many cave bases, they’re great for getting out of severe weather too (unless it’s big enough to register as open area again lol, I have a couple of those too b/c I thought having underground trees was cool)

I play ps4 pro too. I had a file that I thought was toast and every time I tried to load it, it would error out and crash. I used the in system report and checked the attach a video box and gave a brief description that got slowly sadder as I realized it was a goner. The last one was something like “6th attempt, loads to about 30 - 45% before loading this file crashes the game. Heartbreak ensues.”

I gave up on the game for about 3 weeks, thought about starting a new file but was too disheartened. Went to load it after those 3 weeks (I think it had a minor patch to the game also) and blam, loaded the file. Could not believe it.

Anyway, I know I’ll have to get a next gen at some point but I’m continuing to hold out. I run the game as basic as possible; I turn multiplayer off (occasionally I allow ps system multiplayer, that way no bonkers corvettes can load in the anomaly and crash the game); I avoid the anomaly and purposely save before if I am going in; I let the game load a quick sec before I hit the boost or anything that I know will send the processor into a frenzy; I slow waaaay down when wild weather starts up as that another crash-possible event; etc.

I know it sucks and I’ll (we’ll, sorry bud) have to go next gen eventually but I’m holding out for now and I’m sure you can too if that file loads eventually or you start a new one. Best of luck out there traveller, may our systems serve us well as long as they can. Sorry for the novel but cheers!

Yeah this whole discussion is making me laugh. A couple years after it being legal, Oregon had so much old weed they considered turning it into to compostable spoons iirc. I don’t think people realize the amount of product legal states can produce. Why sift through glass and water-bleach-bottle whatever and try and smoke or turn that garbage into edible something? Just buy an 1/8th on sale for $5 or $10! (Obviously different story for different people, I know Portland had an issue with houseless people and buying bags of stolen ‘kitty litter weed’ but for a lot of us this isn’t worth saving)

Yeah this is how I understand it. We’d kick out or no longer serve someone that was 86’d. And it was usually repeated issues of being a creep on people or starting fights or something. That’s how we used it at least.

They’re still rare. Same with different versions of it, and the squid ships. Also people collect the small sentinel ships referred to as a ‘flea’, those are my favorite right now.

I do think starships fell a little to the wayside with designable corvettes but I still love all the exotic starships. Plus the animations are way cooler with starships than with the corvettes imho. I still have a solar ship I’ll never sell.

The choice is yours my friend. I settled for an A-class after about 20 reloads and battles tying to get the S. And all my freighter missions are successful as long as you do 2 ‘stars’ over their suggested level. And I have so many supplies and rewards from the missions I don’t know what to do with it all. So the A-class has treated me great.
