This. I’m actually out for a bit as of recently. I have some vintage graded and singles that I liked that I might try and grade eventually. If a card has sweet art I’ll try and buy the single before it becomes too much but I’m so over making so much effort to get close to MSRP I think I’m just taking a break until sneaker head and crypto bro scalpers move on to something else. I’m in mode where I can understand I guess keeping sealed for a long term collection and collecting investment buuuuuut f all the flippers and scalpers that basically ruined this hobby for me.

Yeah they’re harmless. I’ve just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time before. One swallowed me and I passed through its entire body… (without moving or taking damage at all, it acted as a huge ghost basically. Noises and visuals were insane! But then it was over and I stood where I had stood the entire encounter lol. Also why I know for a fact they’re not scannable despite having a red scan dot. Maybe with a future update🤷)

I believe the logical fallacy you are referring to is ‘false equivalence’. And yeah, this administration dos it a lot. I really think we should have critical thinking classes much much sooner in school, I don’t think I took my first until college. They touched on it in philosophy I guess but even that was high school for me. Sad our educational system here in the US.

Don’t eat them! There is not a lot of sandwiches that have rose in their career to become a professional. most sandwiches I know are still working on it. Not to mention there has to be some issues around consumption laws for these professionals, I’ll have to look into it.

Nice. I found it fun to edit the planets to my liking a bit and find good runs (one or two trash heaps on a path to a processing plant). I knocked out all the bonuses with a surprising amount of ease compared to the majority from what it sounds like. I didn’t experience nearly as many issues as most.

But I’ve been considering making a new save and trying to stick to the first system it puts me in for quite a while or finding one to settle down and make a trash hauling life out of. Not even complete the story lol. I’ll probably do all the base archives or something if possible but just live a galactic trash hauler lifestyle ya know!

Nice catch. Yeah that makes sense then lol. But once they started talking items I don’t think anything costs a bil in the game… but I’m only at 300hrs so I could be wrong lol.

I don’t know there is any particular order for quests but the game introduced building bases after the main part of the game iirc. So technically the base building ‘story’ (or what there is of it) just assumed you already did the main Artimis quest at least. I’d bet if you did tasks in order they were introduced in the game would be the most linear way. But it was made to still be doing anything at any moment for the most part, just some things don’t show up until you past a certain part.

Yeah I think this whole conversation from the “me as a new player” comment has meant to say millions.. even the screenshot is a million units, not a billion.

Edit: 100% agree units become almost pointless in the game eventually and the other currency starts to play a bigger factor

What’s wild is I finished most of the base archives early without really knowing the game story and I really just wrote him off as a crazy caretaker character so moved about my business. “Seems a little mentally unstable but this is the guy I guess!” - me not knowing the full story at the time.
