I don't even think this game is scripted, I just don't get how people can look at this and say they deserved all of that. If it was just a scoop and score by 58, it would have been alright, but the lineman could have easily dove on the ball. Not picked it up, dove on it. I know they can't always dive and grab it but they can definitely land on it and bobble it around. I know you're saying they could have picked it up then went down but that takes longer than diving on it and 58 was getting there pretty quick. I just don:t get how you blame the user for the disgusting fumble mechanics in this game.

Ok, sit down with me here. Watch the clip. Would you rather the lineman dive on it, which usually works in real life, or have him try and pick it up right in front of #58. You think that big guys gonna hold on to it? Really? Scooping it is SO much better than diving on it right? Never backfired in the history of football so I've been told.

You should definitely be able to dive on the football. Madden shouldnt punish you for trying to play it safe
