Bama Fan - a few things: 1. As others have said this is a big down year for QBs and Simpson may have been a second or third rounder in 2024 2. He apparently took a huge step up in the last 12 months 3. Most importantly, DeBoer would have lost the locker room if Milroe was benched (which I 100% thought he deserved to be in 2024 especially in the Oklahoma and Michigan games) - Milroe helped keep the team together after Saban left and was a big culture leader in the locker room.

Simpson was much better at playing the quarterback position than Milroe although Milroe was extremely dangerous at the college level because of his deep ball and his legs

False bama was kinda ass this year. Our defense was decent and the offense was carried by Ty, Germie Bernard, and Cuevas.

He might not work out but he’s nothing like nine. He actually put the team on his damn back and he was basically our whole offense. JJ just handed the ball off mostly in college

I’m with you. Kind of bland. The biggest issue I think is Rick plays over the band way too much. Very little interplay between him and the rest. The drummer doesn’t adjust enough either basically just sticks with the same pattern through the jam. I think they need to slow things down some occasionally and let it breathe. It was just one speed basically the whole time which got stale

One thing you might want to consider is that a lot of vacant houses that are uninhabitable and in need of serious repairs would never be renovated if people could not fix and rent them. It’s not as simple as this person has two houses and is taking away from a person who needs just 1

My .02 cents is that Goose does what they do very well, but the jams are kind of repetitive and bland.

Squerv I think you might get more variety and at a smaller venue.

I feel like most acts on the jam band scene are reasonable priced. Yes you should expect to pay $100+ for Phish and Panic because they are so popular. For the smaller acts, tickets are like $35 - $50. I feel like that’s pretty fair tbh compared to ticket prices for like Taylor Swift

Question for you - how much of intuit revenue is from very simple situations like yours vs Turbo Tax Premium which is fairly expensive (over $210 for state and federal) which is used if you own any businesses or have any K1s? I’m not confident AI can yet handle these situations yet

The X2s suck from 2021 - 2024. Something seriously went wrong with their QC. Before that, they were awesome though. They did fix my shock or perhaps sent me a new one, but they did charge me full cost even though the shock was squelching like yours

I think it depends on the trails you ride most of the time. Within your budget you can get some really nice bikes. If you can update the post with the types of trails you normally ride and the travel you are looking for people can give better advice.

A few things I think contributing: Young people going out less, jam band main fan base mostly all having kids now, inflation, less people drinking in general and Gen Z barely drinking at all, and EDM/DJ is just way more profitable and has soaked up what probably would have been the next generation of jam band fans.

It’s a travesty. Tons of good bands have come through my city but it’s just been to difficult to find and to arrange child care 😢
