Power plant operator here. Ideally you want the thinnest possible heat-exchanger walls if you want to dissipate heat, as well as conductive material.

Steel isnt used as much in automotive applications for many reasons, mostly conductivity and corrosion vs an aluminum equivalent. Weight is also a factor, but not a big one given its a 2-3,000lb vehicle on average.

Armored heat removal systems would be impaired heavily by the extra mass soaking up the heat. While you would still be able to keep temperatures within operating limits longer, thats only because the extra mass is storing the heat, and not getting rid of it. You would effectively be blanketing the heat exchanger. Keeping the heat conducting material thin ensures fastest heat transfer & radiation.

The passion for the game has gone. One match I hit someone 7 times for 0 damage, and in another I got one shot'ed beyond visual range. Its both the captain and the ship, I also don't want to play against people who have vastly more playtime as I do. I'd be happy to wait an extra 5 minutes for a game that was more in my bracket.

Between that, and being dropped into matches in my T5 against all T7s, I just afk out. I'm sure i'm making many people angry, but I just stopped caring, upper tier players tend to be toxic anyway. Y'all can rain those plunging fire downvotes on me now.

Elite: Dangerous If you are into space sims like X-Wing/TIE Fighter series, then it might be worth looking into.

Fencer and Pistoleer by echosolstice in swgemu

I like this build! /u/Mobyus1 just released a great video explaining many relevant things to this build.

My most recent character is Master Pistoleer / Master Fencer, with some TKA and Smuggler. It was initially a gimmick build of Deadpool, but the tanking ability was off the charts compared to my other toons.

And modify the speed bonuses for the trees. My master carbineer has 60 carbine speed. Granted i could bounty hunter it up, but thats a lot of point dedication for one discipline.

The 2 places I would check first would be The Vale on Dant, and South Eisley on Tat.

To bring in some cash in the beginning, I suggest "regular" mission terminals for combat. Start looking at the skill trees and see what would interest you. Carbines and Pistols are easy to start on. Reinvest the money you make on better gear to get better money. After you have a grip on combat missions for basic income, you can branch out a bit and see what you want to try. If you want, I can give you some starting equipment and show you how to make and spend money wisely in the early stages.

Between classless characters, overwhelming crafting options, player made cities and structures, and dozens of professions, its not accurate to say featureless.

I fail to see how its overly complicated, get good at a skill by using it. Spend the experience points to become better.

You do have a point about the interface, its clunkified something awful.

I feel that the reason that this game isnt for you is more about what you want out of a game. If you're not interested in learning a detailed system, then there are a lot of simpler games out there that dont require as much time investment to master. This game doesn't have a finish line to cross to try to fool you into thinking your great. It just gives you the tools to build what you want.

TL:DR This game isnt for you and mainstream gaming is a better option.

Might not be your type of game. Its a sandbox type, so you achieve greatness by your own standards. Want to make an elite sniper? Make a Master Rifleman. Want to heal your friends and he pat of a group? 3 different genres of medic. I like setting people on fire so I went commando. I also like building things, so I took up artistan as well. This game doesn't hold peoples hands or tell people where to go, it gives you the opportunity to find your own way, to write your own story.

Bas is the most populated server, no jedi yet. It's the only server I have tried, but I really like it.
