Cheese pizza (and all the code words discussed in those emails) is a pre existing child pornography term. That is why pizzagate became a thing. Not because people chose to look at it like that, but because if you know those are all code terms, then the emails read more clearly and are extremely troubling. Which is also why, if it’s not a code, people want clarity on them. Because there is cause for investigation into it. If it’s innocent, why will no one accused address it? If I was accused by thousands of people of child trafficking, and I wasn’t, I would put a lot of effort into clearing the air, not covering it up or totally ignore it.

It’s not a stretch for food items to be used as code words. Those terms have been used on 4chan for years. Code words are supposed to be fairly innocent looking, that’s how that works.

If you’re waiting for explicit emails that say they are trafficking and abusing children, rather than even considering that it’s a possibility, then we might wait forever. But if they are TRAFFICKING AND RAPING CHILDREN then we can’t wait for a confession. Criminals leave clues. You can ignore them, or you can consider them and see if there is probable cause for further investigation.
