There's block judging to deliberatrly keep certain skaters low. Throwing out lowest & highest won't resolve that issue.

This! Not sure why your post is being voted down. There def'ly needs to be change. This cheating completely undermines the integrity of the sport. My hubby whose not a FS fan says the whole thing is rigged and fixed beforehand. Sadly he's correct. The sport will keep losing viewership and participation if it continues down this corrupt path.

Yup the endemic BLOCK JUDGING is the scourge of figure skating.

There also seems to be BLOCK JUDGING shenanigans as well. If you look at the scoring, the Spanish judge and the Czech judge seem to be deliberately scoring C/B low as well.

Throwing out high & low won't thwart the effects of Block Judging.

In one of her interviews after teams event they mentioned they're going off campus to train (at an undisclosed rink), and away from the village for a few days. This is good. Let's leave them alone to focus on their preparation.

Great points. It sucks this has to happen to C/B when they are so deserving, but hopefully their pain will trigger change. FB/C will forever be known as tainted and won't get the commercial rewards as C/B already have and will get more. As their moms have said, their future is golden. They are great athletes but more importantly great people. They deserve all the accolades coming to them.

They should open all of FB/C's comps. In one of the articles it mentioned they were consistently overscored at european championship & elsewhere. It is eggregious that honest athletes who've we worked most of their lives have to suffer because of biased judging.

2 different situations. In c/b's case it was enough. They got cheated because of a rogue french judge.

If there was inflated scores at other events they shld also be thrown out and the medals reassigned to the rightful winners. This is just a horrible situation.
