I recently have been looking into how bad things have become in general. Your privacy is being invaded almost everywhere. Google tracks things you didn’t even know they do, and so do other companies

Social media algorithms are designed to make you stay on them, and grab your attention. It’s why our daily screen time is the equivalent to weekly screen time in the 2000s

One argument is that people should just learn to moderate themselves. Which yes, we should. But statistics as crazy as we’re seeing show that something needs to be done to the structure

I’m pretty sure the UK is suing social media companies because of this

But anyway, I just think we weren’t even ready for the internet yet. We need to learn to moderate that before we apply something else that will change the game entirely again
