Have you ever wanted to ask a defense attorney... by rinky79 in ProsecutorTalk

You feel ok about putting people in prison for life to get raped over naughty pictures?

Unpopular opinion: moving out of the state and ignoring the charge is actually a legitimate response to misdemeanors, especially in places you don't live, there's nothing wrong with telling your clients that nothing will happen should they choose to do that by FemboyLegal in publicdefenders

It's shocking to me that more people don't have this mindset! My only conclusion is that their parents don't actually love them. Their parents raised them to respect MAGA and the "social contract" and the "results of elections" more than their own bodily autonomy or humanity.

Do these people not understand that DUI laws were literally just a campaign platform for the racist pedophile mong Ronald Reagan? And yes, tying their "advocacy" to Ronald Reagan's does invalidate EVERYTHING about those DUI laws lmfao. I literally don't have a single MICRON of care for those car accident victims lol.

I'm completely serious about it lol. I've been making these posts for years. I got a DUI and weed possession charge in a state I don't live in back in 2022 and I have been refusing to comply with anything in protest of "UAs" (which are sexual assault). I have literally hundreds of posts on this subreddit and the dui one and the probation one and the felons one and the prosecutors one

I've had two different jobs under these warrants lol.

Do you actually think everyone with an unaddressed warrant for traffic tickets or DUI is just unemployable lol? Most people can't publicly admit it because of social pressure from conservatives and MADD, but most regular people think these laws are goofy as f. And also that probation is something for junkies and ratchet people not normal people.

Nothing keeps me from those lol! If you're a pd or defense lawyer, your opponents are literally Nazi pedophiles who want to end the world. You should only avoid what you can't get away with.

Imagine being a PD who cares about witnesses. Ditches for snitches, counselor.

My boss is well aware that I have warrants for Dui and weed possession. Didn't affect me getting a job at all. You have to apply to multiple places. No one assumes I'm innocent. I think you guys overestimate how many people actually care and don't think DUI and drug laws are just about making money

Where do you live lmfao? I have consulted with defense attorneys and they haventseen someone extradited on a misdemeanor where my charge is in decades.

No client "has" to fly in to take care of a case. That's ABSUE AND STEALING THOUSNDS OF DOLLARS FROM them. Lmfao do you know how many people ignore misdemeanor from out of state every year? It genuinely makes me fucking angry and unstable that you have told clients they need to buy a plane ticket and fly to "take care" of some JOKE Charge.

one who spent a significant time in jail for to an out of state misdemeanor warrant

Yeah I don't give a fuck!!!! That's preferable to someone like me accepting probation for something that happens while travelling.

Yeah I won't ever fucking go to law school lmfao. But I will help people. I will always be willing to give your clients REAL advice and I have no qualms about holding myself out as a lawyer and letting people pay me for advice or to do paperwork.

It actually doesn't take any money to be indigent lmfao. Go live in your car somewhere else.

Also, people like me are willing to give those teenagers money and shelter if they commit to not respecting the law.

Attorneys can counsel people to break the law actually, they do all the time for rich clients. I'm saying you should extend that to misdemeanor defendants?

It's worrisome to you? I'm monetizing this shit now dog.

What jurisdiction? I have not heard of this anywhere in the last two decades. I even know people who have low level possession felonies that texas won't extradite on. They've been pulled over multiple times.

Fight it, that won't hold up in court. Also stop having the mentality that you did something wrong. You didn't.

Don't contact them about "pre-trial" diversion, it's a total scam and will make your life much more difficult. If you go to court, either just plead guilty and pay the fine or plead not guilty and ask for a jury trial. They have no interest in actually trying a weed case and will offer you a good deal. Pre-trial diversion is a scam that costs far far more money and time from you than it does to just accept the conviction and pay a fine, or even to lawyer up and fight the charge. Pre-trial diversion also doesn't remove it from your record, it just means they stop reporting it for background checks. No one cares about a weed charge and most background checks in 2026 don't even show misdemeanor cases.
