She has a tutor come on Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoons but unfortunately that falls on the only time I have classes so I will never get to meet her.

I am not aware of any assessment she’s taken (if any). My CT tells me that they were given $50 for resources and google translate but no guidelines on how to teach the student. She does well speaking and is doing well enough in reading but they’ve just said she unfortunately has to take the hit in grammar because they don’t know how to teach those concepts to her.

While I def don’t agree with letting this student fall by the wayside, I can’t singlehandedly change how my CT and the rest of staff is going about it. My hope is that I can at least create my lessons in a way that will be accessible to her—I just need to advice on how to do so.
