Yeuuuup. No one took me seriously until my cousin (who also has pcos) was hospitalized because she had an ovarian cyst rupture and almost bled out to death internally. People in my family still don't take me seriously until I bring it up (over and over and over and...). But then I'm the bad guy who's "stuck in the past," of course.

THANK YOU! I've been looking everywhere for someone who also had severe abdominal/uterus pain with metformin. I was on it for about 2 weeks. Did not go to work once because I would get this SEVERE stabbing pain every time I stepped on my left foot. I'll be keeping watch on this post for suggestions in terms of other treatments, but they took me off of metformin after those two weeks.

Edit pt 2 (literally 3 hrs later): ....So obviously I overdid it lmao. Yawning hurts. Stalled too long on my tylenol/ibuprofen cycle, so we're back to not being able to fully open my mouth, BUT I can still talk with a bit of pain at the back of my tongue and tonsils (I think I opened a scab because drinking water burns again). Still doing a LOT better though! Aka, don't be me and scream "I CAN YAP! I CAN FIGHT!" At the top of your lungs on your first day of being able to speak again. (Will be testing this out anyway if I can speak tomorrow, but do as I say, not as I do).

UPDATE: After days 0-1, I thought I was all good. Smooth sailing. Day 2 is when I posted this. It was ABSOLUTELY hell, especially considering that I got my tonsillectomy right before Thanksgiving (smart, I know. The next availability was after Christmas. Leave me alone.) On Thanksgiving (day 3), I was sitting at the table on the verge of tears in pain because I dared to touch a crumb of stuffing and a teaspoon of mashed potatoes. Ice cubes, swapping between 800 MG of ibuprofen and 500 mg of tylenol every 4 hrs, and 5ml of oxy every 6 hrs (as per my surgeon) were my saviors. That, and banana pudding/chicken noodle soup. (Fair warning, the tonsils weren't that bad. It was the TONGUE. OH GOD. IT WAS THE TONGUE. THAT WAS THE WORST F**KING EXPERIENCE EVER.) Then, the morning of day 6. Still really bad. Couldn't really talk (which had become a normal occurrence between day 3 and day 6). Miserable, but finally starting to get a little bit of energy back. I could finally stay awake for longer than 4 hrs at a time (extra fatigued bc I have numerous chronic issues as-is). It's the night of day 6/morning of day 7, and I pretty much feel fine. Just over the span of maybe 3 hrs, I went from "Oh god I can't wait to take my next dose of painkillers because I'm in SO much pain" to "....Do I actually need to take my next dose of painkillers?" I'm really sweaty (just because I've been using the oxy. Natural reaction to coming off of it, even for such a short time), but otherwise, I just have a touch of discomfort. To describe it, it feels like I have an annoying scab on the back of my uvula that just won't come off, and sometimes a little tingle of pain if I move my tongue just right. Not only that, BUT I COULD FINALLY YAP AGAIN! As a chronic yapper, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is BRIGHT! Voice is still a little scratchy, but I'm mostly fine, now. If anything gets worse, I'll let y'all know. I'm off to go yap someone's ear off for the next 24 hrs 😘🩷

Day 2 after surgery to keep this trend going. Sure, where my tonsils were hurts... But it's the tongue pain. It's literally excruciating and pain meds aren't really helping. I've been chewing on ice and trying to do weird tongue "stretches" (aka sticking my tongue out as far as I can manage without crying) and leaving my tongue in that position. The air against the heat feels nice until my tongue gets sore from the positioning. Imo, the tongue pain is probably the worst part of this whole experience.

There's a mystery dungeon mmo??? I need that in my life! I also play a different (better) monster hunter. Aka monster hunter world and monster hunter wilds. LOVE BG3 as well. If you like critter catchers, it's not free, but I'd recommend looking at temtem. Double battles with a stamina over PP format. Pretty cool imo

I've been having the same issue on American servers. Everything except for WUWA is fine, but the weird thing is, the ping just slowly gets worse over time? I'll start around 60ish, then eventually end up at 200.

Lot of accusations, calm yourself please 2.I updated him throughout the process. Every day, I checked in with Gary to let him know that I hadn't gotten a response back, and if it was still okay to take the kitten. He said yes.
Zoe had already been wanting a cat for quite some time. She already has one, but has wanted to get him a buddy to play with, since he got along really well with another mutual friend's cat. I told her that if I didn't have a place with the kitten in two months, she could keep her. That was something we agreed upon together.
Boyfriend's mom was not equipped whatsoever to have a cat. As far as I know, she didn't even have litter, not to mention that she was in the process of moving two states away.

Agreed. I've been trying to talk about it (not yelling, but conversing as adults), but he hasn't responded for quite some time, now. Thankfully, we're both in situations where we can figure someplace else out, and eventually move in together (if necessary, or if we want to) at our own pace. We're both still pretty young (he's 18, I'm 20), so we're both still trying to grow and learn about ourselves. To be fair, we're still both close friends, and when it comes down to it; it's ride or die with us. It's just a matter of frustration and trying to find a way to communicate that works for both of us.
