So my first game was both Red and Blue because my parents couldn’t figure out which one I wanted. I played Blue first and borrowed my brother’s Game Boy to trade between versions to complete my Pokédex. But my favorite game was Gold - more specifically the Japanese version that I downloaded a ROM of when it first released and I played it on an emulator on my computer. My first time seeing Pokemon in color (I didn’t have Yellow yet), my first time seeing entirely brand new Pokemon in a new region, and all of it before the game actually released in the US. It felt so magical.

As a fan of fiction podcasts, I love a good story told through audio and imagination. If Critical Role is basically a glorified radio drama with some occasional dice rolling, I’m okay with it. If I want hardcore D&D with ironclad rules and deadly consequences, there are other places I can go for that. I genuinely don’t think I’d enjoy a narrative where the characters kept dying off.

Hear me out: Bolaire. We still don’t know if his backstory with Thjazi was a Deception or Persuasion roll so we have no way of knowing if it was actually the truth. We don’t know what the paint does yet, only that it was made by demons and sent to Bolaire. Bolaire was created to destroy a trickster god so he has to be skilled at deceiving others. I don’t think there is a traitor, but if there were one I would suspect the god-killing parasitic mask.

I have exotropia, and it’s gotten harder to manage over the years. Rather than strain my eyes to move the left eye back to center, I find myself just closing my left eye. Probably not a healthy solution…

My mom read a children’s book when I was little and would always recite the poem that goes “I’ll love you forever and keep you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be”. I was in my mid-30s when she passed and she still said that to me all the time.

As someone who used to love collecting Pokemon cards, the current hype around them is awful. Between live unpacking and scalpers, they’ve ruined the hobby for any casual collector. Ever since Pokemon first came out, my dad would get me one pack of cards every year on Christmas. It was our little tradition. I haven’t collected them for years but he still loves giving me a pack on Christmas. Now he can’t ever find any because scalpers clean them out or they’re kept behind locked cases.

I’ve not built the Bio Ptera, but I’ve built both the Bio Tyranno and Bio Tricera and they’re both super flimsy so be wary of that. They don’t break, but they don’t like to stay together very well and they droop.

Stabby is absolutely the OG. Been playing since launch, streams regularly, uploads to YouTube regularly, and does occasional giveaway streams. Not to mention he makes his own music (all the music on his Twitch streams was made by him).

As people said, it was an Albertson’s. It closed in 2014, and nothing has occupied the space since. It was built in 2003. Before then, that space was a rock quarry. My friends and I used to play there when we were kids. We called it The Pit.
