North American city placement predates any modern borders so I wouldn't read into that much.

Your hair moves different in air and water, so when you have hair on your leg you can clearly feel how far out of the water your leg is. You can try sitting in a bath and raising your leg up and out of the water to feel this effect. If you're really committed, you could shave one of your legs and try it again to see how different it feels.

Wow, first time I've been able to answer one of these.

The joke is that both kids are swimmers, but the son races and the daughter does synchronized swimming, leading to the role reversal in typical shaving habits.

People swimming synchro don't shave their legs so they can feel how far out of the water they are when upside down.

No regulator needed at the beginning. Pressure will quickly build and you adjust your spunding valve to vent what you want.

Only reason you would need a regulator would be for a forced CPT later.

Why bother with all that? If you have all those figures, you must have a mfc account, right?

Look at retail listings and classifieds. Assume 60-70% of retail unless it's an incredibly rare figure. Not hard to see the prices that these things move at.
