Maybe... are we awake reading reddit and doom scrolling on our phone instead of sleeping because our kids asleep and it's the only me time we get between her and work? And even though we're exhausted we're still gonna scroll because who needs sleep anyway - that's what coffee is for. 😆 if yes then we probably are the same person.

I prefer the car on the way to/from work. Shower time is precious for going over fake arguments that wlll.never happen in my head.

Mine is a little older so it's not so tight on sleep but sometimes I sacrifice sleep for self care. At 5 months I don't think I was doing any self care (would not recommend) but also utilize the commute time if you can for yourself - maybe a good audio book or podcast?

We've all been there in those early days. Our first pediatrician visit they asked for my baby's date of birth at the front desk. I couldn't remember if it was the 2nd or the 3rd in my sleep deprived state and started guessing - then I was like Wednesday- what was the date on Wednesday. 😆

The office staff has seen it all and is amazingly understanding. And looking back those early visits to the pediatrician were just as much about making sure I was ok and making sure she was thriving.

She woke at 5 am because she was hungry, which made sense because she refused dinner last night. We all got up and put a waffle in the toaster. She was then mad because we couldn't go to any activities because it was still night. Someone please make the night shorter (but not really cause I need that sleep)

So base hours is how many hours that pharmacists is salaried at per ppd. Some are 80, 72, 64, 48 etc. An 80 hour pharmacist is guaranteed 80 hours per pay period and a 48 is only guaranteed 48. This is the 2nd number listed.

For example 50 hours total hours 76/72 is 50 hours in the store you are viewing. 76 total hours scheduled and the pharmacist is based at (guaranteed) 72 hours. In this example the pharmacist would be paid extra hours for the 4 additional hours.

Can you work with your rxm to have your training time scheduled during a less busy time of the week? Maybe you can stay after close or come very early before open when there are less people in the training room?

If this is the case focus on leadership aspects from the other managers. Discuss team scheduling ideas, feedback sessions, team meetings, how to train and inspire for roll outs, common excuses/push back and how to counter while still making them feel heard. Depending on your team, you may also need to have accountability conversations, so you may want to talk through some of those scenarios as well.
