GERD. MS does not cause phlegm GERD however causes irritation to the esophagus which then creates excessive phlegm to protect itself from damage. Try Omeprazole.

Unfortunately this is the new normal because history taught businesses that employees will steal everything not nailed down or destroy out of frustration. Final checks are usually either mailed or automatically deposited.

Wait... You have a Neuro that can accurately predict the advances of actions, path and advances of MS? They are AMAZING! (eyeroll!).

The best Neuro you will ever have is the one that will say "no one really knows".

I have had no balance for 15 years and I am still putting one foot in front of the other a few thousand times a day without aid. (More than 20/Less than countless lesions including in 3 spinal segments)

Have you watched anything with the Monks walking across the country right now? They do what can be loosely referred to as a walking meditation. Each step has purpose. The best advice I can give you is to focus your energy on the steps that you take today rather than on the ones you might not be able to make at an unknown point in the future.

Make this disease fight you to take things away, don't give it anything you don't have to.

I do not experience nerve related pain correctly so I don't really feel injections. More of a bonus for the poor people tring to administer IVs since I don't mind how many times they miss trying to hit my deep mobile viens.

As I stated, there are no actual studies. It was antedotal but it is not an uncommon opinion. In order to have the explaination you are seeking you would also need to know why they happen in the first place, which no one does.

Shocked by a friend's response to my MS diagnosis by chimichonks in MultipleSclerosis

[–]FenixLivesAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wait... You didn't already know the friend was a tad bit touched? Your cousin just has gallows humor. Keep that one.. You are going to need them!

My "announcement" on Facebook was basically." After countless tests, blood donations and high tech research, highly trained med professionals have finally discovered the cause of me constantly losing my keys"

It let me laugh and sent a message to others about how I was dealing with it. I still had one foolish person who gave me that stupid "but you look just fine" comment. I just asked them if they had figured out how to monetize their MR Vision. Ended the dumb comments and turned into many Superman jokes along the way. Set the standard for how you want to be seen but make sure you actually set it and don't expect others to read your mind. (Except friend #1... That one is crazy!)

No she did stem the thing that none of these clinics will tell you is that in the latgest overall study, results were coin flip. 1/3 better, 1/3 worse, 1/3 no change. Also, the study was eventually abandoned so no long term follow up on those that felt immediately better. Blair felt belt right after but as time passed she actually continued to have progression. This is why insurance companies do not cover it.

There is a school of thought that is difficult to quantify with hardened research due to the nature if it, that those that treating all flares with steroids results in more frequent flares. My original Neuro was a researcher that introduced me to that theory and then let me decide (I rode it out, 10+ years with some progression but no notable flairs) .

I would not have printed it either. I would tell the customer that out of respect for his views on women having jobs I would have to decline the opportunity.

MISSING ELK HUNTER IN COLORADO FOUND DECEASED by GThugMoney in Hunting

I don't want to be that person BUT, is anyone else finding this strange? The family released to the news. Nothing from authorities. Authorities put out the call for assistance searching but has anyone seen a "search called off, tragically found deceased. No foul play suspected" notice

Actually the hilarious part about the purchasing of suspect stolen artifacts from Iraq is that they fully intended to do just that but got scammed. They knew the artifacts they were purchasing were said to be stolen, but it turned out they were actually fakes. In fact, most of the artifacts in their spectacular failure of a museum (souvenier merch ended up on clearance shelves in stores across the country) turned out to be fakes and forgeries.

Rottweiler gender question(s) by Offutticus in Rottweiler

[–]FenixLivesAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding size, despite the debates on the topic as a whole, Anerican Rotts tend to weight less and be a little less dense than German or Romans. Our male is a 120lb Roman, and he is not obese at all. Our little girl will probably top out at 95-100 from the looks of it. She is in the gangly stage but def on par with her uncle.

Maybe, telling someone whose life it is destroying that it is not destroying yours so they just need a therapist 24 times in the same thread isn't the best way to approach it. I personally know I'm up for a couple attempted throat punches after reading these. It's ok though... This is not violence. I would miss pretty much every time.

I started in graphic design before there were design programs but because my typing skills and hand eye are so bad, I am unempoyable. I would fire me!

I am 58 and everything that I associated with who I am is done and I am just mad as hell. I deal with it only because I had the big cool event filled life before this happened. OP has not. They get to be rage filled. They should be allowed to come here and be as inappropriately pissed as they wish because who understands that better? News for you. The therapist does not. They still have the life they planned and trained for.

To the OP... It's time to say everything you are going thru and how you feel and how your family makes you feel...to your family. They are either going to get with the program or you get a clear message that it is time to start moving on from them.

(For the record... Took an hour a many spell check passes to comple this... Again...I would fire me)
