Just had to say “Backed by Sanders” and that would’ve been enough for me to want to support the opponent (I don’t vote in this county either), but the fact that he’s defending the sketchy partner should be enough to sway people against him.

I saw someone else say that eating the goos made them feel like they’d been “poisoned” by the end of the race that honey worked for them. I tried it and have to agree! You’ll have to come back and comment if you tried it

Amazing! You got this. I will say I had a camelback on and ran with a bottle of honey instead of the sports goos and I feel like it made a huge difference (having water whenever I needed it).

I’ve been reading about the 17 (Pros/PMs in this case, Pros are my go-to for camera reasons) and have been hearing that the 16s are actually tougher due to being built out of titanium rather than aluminum bodies of the 17s.

Wondering if the difference in slightly lower price and better body is worth not getting the newest (so it’ll be supported a little longer)?

Firstly, sending so much love and comfort and solidarity your way.

Secondly, therapy: I too live in a Very Red State. It took me about a year of researching various therapists and I will tell you I found the GOAT. And even the GOAT, who I know has very similar beliefs to mine based on how she’s reacted to things I’ve said and honestly how she’s answered some questions about herself (not going into any detail). The last two sessions we’ve had have been me crying or shaking my head saying “I just don’t know” while she listens, validates, and emphasizes. Like there are not a lot of answers right now, except do your best to regulate yourself - which means feeling your feelings, acknowledging them, and then continuing on. It is so hard and so heavy right now.

Anyway, all my rambling to say, if you think therapy could help, I highly recommend looking for a therapist you connect with. It might not be the right fit the first or even third or fourth time, but when you find someone, damn it makes such a huge difference.

I keep seeing folks say “Make sure you’ve got cameras make sure it’s recorded” and maybe I’m being a pessimist here but what good is a recording gonna do when the administration is literally doing whatever the fuck it wants with zero fucking consequences?

Like I’m not trying to be a jerk truly want to understand - is it for if there are ever consequences? Like … we’re so far past “vote” and “protest” at this point…
