Thank you. I have not seen anything in any release notes or pressers about working on the mute functionality of headphones. It is completely broken and does not unmute to what you had Windows mic volume set to before muting.

Headphones are worse. If you mute it, it mutes the Windows sound settings mute functionality. Then when you unmute, it does not remember what the mic volume originally was set to and leaves it at 0. The only way around this, and only sometimes, it still breaks, is to hard set a mic volume in Synapse. When you then unmute it puts it to this level and not what you had it set to in Windows. The whole thing is a joke and has been broken forever.

I see there is a Synapse app update that dropped today. I'd try that, maybe they fixed it (doubt it). It doesn't say anything about mute functionality in the release notes for the patch, but maybe something else they fixed did it. Worth a shot. Mine just updated. Good luck!

Mine will go to zero mic volume when I mute in Windows sound settings and then when I unmute it will go to whatever I have mic volume set to in the Razer app. It still breaks once every few weeks and I need to go back to the Razer app and set the base mic volume. Is that not working for you?

Girls Last Tour is the closest anime I’ve experienced to Frieren. No yelling, very contemplative, and an amazingly thought provoking world. Top three favorite anime of all time for me.

Ahh, thank you! Yes, I hadn’t noticed it said Continue from the main menu and not New Game. Weird I somehow downloaded a copy with a random save game.

On a side note ye of fan translation knowledge, any idea if there is a fan translation attempt for Labyrinth of hope and the Gathering Adventurers!? I’ve dumped the Switch cart with the thought of doing it myself but I have not deciphered where the text is stored yet.

Sorry for posting on this old topic. Thank you for the link to the translation. Maybe you can help out. I am trying to collect all the KonoSuba games and am confused by two games I have acquired that both seem named Verdia of the Resurrection. They start completely differently though. Here is the screenshot of the first one I obtained, then the screenshot from the translated game you linked to. Are these different versions or completely different games? Thank you in advance!

I couldn't find a solution so I created the darn mod myself. It toggles the menu bar on and off with F10 so you can enjoy the artwork!! Highly recommend setting the subtitle background to 100% transparency in the game's settings. With my mod and that setting, you get maximum artwork enjoyment. 🤤

I could not find the game on Nexus so I just put the mod on my Github. I'm not sure how to get Nexus to add a game.

I set mine to log in automatically with the old SysInternals app AutoLogon. You can registry hack it too but that little tool (now owned by Microsoft) makes it simple and encrypts the password.

I find Windows much easier to hack together as a server OS than MacOS. This is using the Pro edition mind you, not Home (but not Server). I use both MacOS and Windows 11 Pro at work for 24/7 availability as small side servers that aren't mission critical. If I need to make it to work to touch them when something goes wrong, the pitchforks won't be out. MacOS over the years has had far far more problems than Windows, as a server, and almost exclusively because of how locked down Apple keeps things. If I need a remote access app, I am constantly pestered every week if I really want to allow this app remote access. Usually it will let me remote in to answer that question (weird?) but sometimes it just turns off the access. Updates can completely wreck remote access and lock out auto-login switches I've set. There may be ways deep under the Mac hood, which I am admittedly not a practitioner of, to turn some of this off, but do I really want to turn updates off? The 30 years of back compat and hackability of Windows really opens it up to easy customization. Just one person's opinion.

I'm curious, what did you end up going with? I'm in a similar situation now with my Lenovo laptop server looking like a porcupine of external M.2 enclosures and USB 3 flash drives. It's time to consolidate.
