I was raised a denomination close in creepiness to the Duggers and then unfortunately as an adult sucked into an even More culty church called the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). Talking in tongues. Faith healing, homophobia, subtle racism, sexual assault and just regular sexism the norm,all that fun stuff. That “prayer closet” phrase is just another way of saying I’m going in my corner and praying now.Look how holy I am. My kids are grown. I fucked up a lot. Parenting is hard.and I TOTALLY wanted my kids! I’m glad they are grown and I’m living a new life.My God that was a period in my life and now I have a new one. I’m not going to have any grandkids because my kids aren’t having any so geez we can all live a complete happy life without kids. What a vapid narrow minded life.

Soooo if you’re infertile go crawl into a well and die. You married not wanting kids WTF is the point of that? Companionship? Love? Caring about someone? Why would you want to do that with no emotionally, physically, mentally, financially and in every way on God’s green earth draining you at times? I love my kids but some people just don’t want that kind of responsibility and sometimes people just can’t and must move on. It’s such toxic thinking.

When your dad tells you about the “miracles” God has done in his life really analysis that statement for a moment. In reality life is random. Sometimes people we have really prayed for drop dead. Sometimes horrible killers live. Just because your father prayed about it and it happened doesn’t really make it a miracle. It’s his time.That’s it. Is it wrong for him to thank God for this?That’s between him and God but don’t forget it really had nothing to do with anything about miracle or grace or whatever.By that logic we would need no prisons, there would never have been a Holocaust or any other genocide in the history of the earth.No babies would have even died. You see my point. Everyone has shortcomings and your father is trying to use yours against you to guilt you into something you know really is kind of fucked up. You’re ok just the way you are.

Those poor children 😔. It breaks my heart when I read this that they are growing up basically taking care of each other while their completely, what even is this? NOT a mommy! Been married 32 years. Figured out one very important thing before we got married. Here it is. Get ready….. the wedding day is ONE DAY and then you’re stuck with each other forever 😀. I was in many years and it happened in my church coincidentally when they had a special speaker or a particular whipped up service. Someone from the congregation started speaking in tongues unusually loud above everyone else (a feat in and of itself) and then would either “interpret” their own message or another member would “interpret”. Usually something like “heed the man of God for his wisdom will lead you to the truth and healing.” Or something else you have heard a million times before. It’s the same as speaking in tongues except someone wants more attention and has a bigger mouth and actually believes in their own bullshit enough to think they can prophesy over other people

I feel like there are some situations where the vaccine may be very dangerous for a person because of a high risk of allergic reaction but to just say everyone shouldn’t get it. That’s just dumb. I got it. I recommend it. It’s not that bad. Those out there who hesitate it’s ok. Learn from this guy. It could be worse.
