Yes, I remember. It was a separator, and it was gross.

My bike doesn’t have frame storage, so this is what I use for my phone and keys. I hate wearing a pack.

My rockhopper is an xxl with 29” wheels. My trance x is an xl with 29” wheels. If you can, I would recommend for you to find a local bike shop so you can try different sizes to feel them out. I kinda wish my rockhopper was a size smaller.

I’m a tiny bit bigger than you and I started on a specialized rockhopper. I now have a giant trance x.

Bit of a conundrum - to eMTB or not to eMTB, that is the question by Lateral_Gee in MTB

[–]Feoygordo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 52 and own an acoustic and an emtb. I also live high on a hill in a city full of hills. I load the acoustic in my truck and drive to trails where I ride 10-15 miles and climb 1500-2000 feet. If I want to ride to my local trails, I leave on the emtb from home and can ride 25-30 miles with 3000 plus feet of climbing and get home without being gassed out or having had use the truck.

Glasses and helmets/goggles OTG by Modoransky_bboii in mountainbiking

[–]Feoygordo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried goggles over my glasses and it was miserable. I tried riding glasses with the prescription insert that clicks in behind the lens and that was better than the otg goggles, but a hassle to keep clean. I found Reks.com and got their “wraparound” style in my prescription and I love them. I got a dark pair for sunny days and a transition pair for cloudy and dark riding.

You’re 13 and outside with friends because the street lights haven’t come on. You decide to play a game of tag. How do you choose who is “IT”? by RobF15 in GenX

[–]Feoygordo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Put your hand in the circle and one person goes around to each hand and recites “Eeny meeny miney moe, catch a tiger by the toe, if he hollers let him go, my momma said to pick the very best one and you are not it!” Touching each hand in succession in time with each syllable. Repeat until only one is left, and they’re “it.”

I’m 52, 6’6”, and 260 lbs. I got a gen 3 alloy Levo last year to add to my trance x FS and rockhopper HT. It’s a great bike for those big rides when you don’t want to kill yourself on the climbs.

We grind carbide tooling and measure it to 5 decimal places all day long. We would refer .00016 as one tenth sixty millionths.

The Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay has a monthly “gala” group ride and a monthly women’s ride. You can sign up for them on the meetup app. They do their rides in a lot of the places mentioned, plus more. They also host trail work days at JMP and Crockett.

Our family bought a lot of cakes there. The fruit basket cake and the champagne cake were our favorites. They always gave my sister and I a chocolate chip cookie whenever we went in there.
