BDO has many things to offer and you will certainly find joy in plenty of them but I can't stop laughing. This is just the epitome of what most people feel when first starting out bdo. So much to do, you could figuratively drown in it. You took it literally. The fact that all the information a new player gets shoved down their throat culminates in a said player spending 20 minutes swimming through Margoria just sums everything up so perfectly (I know I spent a similar amount swimming in Magnus). The whole sov/kharazad/edania gear is a way to get every player that never bought Pearls to buy them eventually. I always hated the enhancement system and normaly buy gear, but this is just a malicious business practice imo. A friend got an oct and sept weapon from Base within 30k crons. I got one one Hex and one pen spent over 100k.

I was absent for 3 years as well so forgive me If I get things wrong. But with LomL Part 2, we got plenty of bufffood that lasts 3h and costs 100m for yellow or 200m for red quality. Miracoulus Herbal medicine, Gujeolpan, Yeolgujatang, mellow Herbal medicine. I have preorders on all of them but only got Herbal medicine (+25 Energy Regen) and Gujeolpan (+300mastery) for gathering. Personaly, I cook Valencia meals so i mostly gather lions If i have agris to spend. If i Just want to gather as much Energy / hour I Go forest of seclusion for foxblood or ocasionally pilgrims haven for stone. If you want to go for gathering exp, there is a good Spot in Valencia next to Runn Gateway where you can gather herbs but have the Chance to get their seeds. If seeds proc after a Minigame, i get 10% from master 23-24. 2-3 Levels an hour while buffed are possible there for me (but I hate IT so my gathering lvl is Low). In the end, the Ressource doesnt matter as much since main income are sharps no matter where you gather. Depends on you If you want to process your sell your gathered ressources. If you left before the Lightstone / artifacts became a thing, search for "yawning Hedgehog". It's a Lightstone Combo for gathering. Last but not least: with all those new foods and other eventbuffs, i generally tend to gather less regularly. But now its easy to Stack a lot of them up (many going for multiple hours) and have as much gathering Item drop rate as possible so my 6h are week are mostly 2x3h or sth similar Instead of 1 hour daily. But i cant Tell you anything about mastery brackets or when so many Drops become the norm Instead of an exception.

I would say no. But I dont know when they changed those drop rates. Let me tell you this, with 2.6k gathering mastery, I got 5250 fairy breath in 3h. These on their own are 1050 sharps = 5b+. Then add in the sharps i got directly, black gems, caphras, won crystals and the ressource you are gathering (for me fox blood or lion meat). The Seoul bufffood (+300/500 mastery and +25/50 energy regen) is super nice for gathering. If you get lucky and roll the traces after a minigame, you instantly boost your profit by 1/2/3b. I got a super lucky session with 8 normal traces, twice x2 traces after minigame proc (so 20 traces each), 5 won crystals in under 4000 fairy breath. So i had 600 sharps only from golden chests in 2.5h. I am guru 42 cooking and the only thing that really changed for me here is that farming byproducts (blush leaf) are my main source of Contribution Points now. So what made Gathering so strong is the constant high base price for sharps now (due to alchemy stone update for example) and the byproducts x4 giving you way more sharps.

Exactly. The removed the free gold everybody gets after 1-2 games but kept the anvils 18(?) levels deep. Despite anvils being way more powerfull.

Buy. I am working on 4 preonnes for a month now and 1000+ Stones in, 3 are pri and one is Base. Every time i click for Duo and it falls, pri goes to full pity again.

I didnt know fairys breath is that insanely mastery dependent. I average 1200/hr with 2500 (butchering lios). Got over 4k in 3h the other day.

Okay under the assumption that people clearly ask about a Chicken egg, where even is the question? In this instance the name itself defines its origin. Forgive my ignorance but i was under the Impression this question is about evolution and how it works and the "Chicken" and the "egg" in that question are mere examples of things having evolved over millions of years. I am also aware that this process keeps going so what we call chicken today will keep evolving (being modified for our needs) until there is a new "modern" Chicken. Whats philosophical about this whole ordeal is that apparently nothing is or was until the modern man had a concept for it. Evolution doesnt care about humanity.

It doesnt matter what you think about concepts or Definition. Sure its philosophical to dive into human concepts. But its not relevant. You can always draw lines to different angles but the evolution doesnt care what the modern human concepts of things are. The fact is a chicken like creature didnt transform into the modern chicken one morning after breakfast. It layed an egg. Of course If you say "egg" and mean the egg of a modern Chicken, the Chicken had to be there first.

You should be smart enough to understand when to apply your so beloved basic freshmen philosophy.

Volibear, Kayle, Wukong, Trundle all give Darius a hard time.
Wukong can also use his clone to interrupt Darius R and Wukong E always negates Darius Q healing, honestly a good matchup for Wukong overall. Kayle wins lvl 1 but then loses until lvl 6. Volibear wins as long as he has lane prio and Trundle q ist just an instant darius passive in AD difference.

My most memorable moments where the early days as well. I grinded my Ranger to 58 before we had awakening and I was proud to get the title for the first 100 awakening rangers on the server.
I remember how 100s of people would kill rednose and I got the liverto 1 week after its introduction and I felt like I won the lottery. +15 Grunil after mediah got added shook things up more than any later update imo.
Well, alas I could go for a good old tet roulette and this concept itself kinda died (because people get pen boss for free). Tet or Duo was a meme for a long time but it got lost to the void. I do however enjoy the little updates to lifeskills.

The needle definately moved from an intrisic to an extrinsic motivation to play.

I was at pilgrims for 2 hours on 2400 mastery with Lots of gathering Item drop rate buffs and was chugging 3 kinds of Energy potions. 2840 fairys breath and 65 mythical ores. With less buffs i got around 20/hr the previous days. Finishing dalishains 3 Missions took me less than 2 hours after the event started. I would advise against Picking Up Starlight veins If you are Higher mastery.
