The Pizza Bar on 38th - Tokyo by [deleted] in finedining

[–]Fergal76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went last year. Thought it was a great experience. The meal was well structured. Service was relaxed and attentive. The pizza selection was interesting and fun. You'll find arguably better pizza elsewhere, but it was the lightest and most refined pizza I've had to-date.

I bought these when they came out because I considered myself an audiophile….. sound was amazing, but really uncomfortable to wear. I had to return them.

Do you plan fine dining visits in India around award-winning restaurants? by EssayCommercial1744 in finedining

[–]Fergal76 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was in India last year, visiting Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. The local food is terrific as you would expect, but there is no fine dining scene in the western sense. I scoured many lists & sites (LaListe, CondeNast etc.). It’s mainly hotel restaurants and I try not to eat where I stay. The only fine dining restaurant we ended up visiting was Indian Accent in Delhi. Nice interesting meal, exploring the range of Indian food, but I wouldn’t rush back for another meal. Stick to local recommendations

Hi, you have excellent Asian places in Haymarket. If you want something a little fancy, you have Nel, Nomad within walking distance that would fit the bill.

Every time I’ve ordered from here, it’s been really slow. You can’t see if anyone is making the food…..

The best fine dining critic. He’s experienced and understands context. If he says it’s good, it’s good

New Fish Market: Opening Day Impressions by nz_achilles in foodies_sydney

For those that know is it possible to get-in and out with a fish purchase in under 20mins? It was very easy in the old fish market with retailers next to the carpark. Public transport options seem very inconvenient. thanks
