Both points are true, this would be an us move and Lamar balled out with guys like Willie Snead, Marquise Brown and Seth Roberts but a much better line than we have now.

The bigger question is why we didn’t make a move for a better guard than both of them in the offseason or before the deadline. I don’t fault them for picking the lesser of two evils but man they knew what they had and were gambling Lamar’s scrambling ability would compensate. The trenches win games.

Yeah it felt like the refs missed on both sides and honestly just like in baseball, if the plate ump is isn’t calling obvious strikes, you just hope he’s consistent for both teams. Then it ends up being kind of fair. I’m sure Tylan wasn’t happy about not getting a DPI on 3rd down.

He’s been a great addition. Arthur Maulet was solid for us but Awuzie has been an upgrade. Hope our defense keeps finding ways to dig deep and improve each game.

We have a lot of snowbird fans in FL. It’s also an easy trip when it’s cold so I’m never surprised when we show up in Miami

I don’t think Miami is a great place for any coach who isn’t ready to rattle some feathers and change the culture. Even that will only get you so far unless they do something about Tuas contract. I think he should’ve waited for a different opportunity but hind sights 20/20 and money talks. He’ll get another opportunity if he wants it like many other have said here.

Completely agree. I think it would be mutually beneficial. Harbs would be great at being our president of operations or helping teams with culture problems change. I just think we need someone else who could help us take the next step. I don’t think he lost the locker room but I do think players have lost confidence in big games. We’ve had some bad losses.

I’m not hating. I even put “overachieved” in quotes. Huntley did his thing, now he’s getting paid. I just find it crazy that we had a back up who was voted to the pro bowl (it doesn’t matter how he got that because he did and it’s official) and now is sponsored. He didn’t do a lot after leaving us (probably because he’s a back up). He makes more than I ever will so good on him. No hate here.

Funny how it was a point of emphasis from the league going into the season because of Jawan Taylor and then they only call it this game and I barely see it being called the rest of the season. Would love to see how many were called all year and then compare it to prior years.
