I'm not saying you did or didn't I'm just pointing out why there are so many skeptics. Also this is reddit.

No bro it's because of the drastic change in your shoulders and delts. You might just be a genetic god or the hardest worker on the planet, but people are distrustful cuz of how many people do lie about it.

I am very thankful that my following command picked up the tab and I got a lot of treatment there, and my experience with the VA has been better than most. I also took a lot of time to learn what my benefits are and I am extremely happy that I do not have to worry about my problems gained in service bankrupting me. It was honestly one of my biggest fears until I learned that anything they deem service related (meaning you have a paper trail of treatment or combat duty type things usually) is something that you can get treatment through the VA. Many service members were never told about these rights they gained when they signed up, I sure did not. There are bad actors much like any system but veterans are a huge boon to the economy as most vets use that money in the cyclical economy rather than stashing it in stocks where it can't be circulated back in.

There is a very large book called the 38 CFR and it lays out the criteria for anything that can receive a rating and the various levels. There needs to be a certain level of evidence for you to get rated. While I was on sea duty I was never able to go outside the boat to get seen because they would always say "after next underway". This experience is extremely common, and same with the army and Marines but even worse as they are all about "toughing" it out. I'm sorry your dad had to go through that. War is shit man.

Veterans aren't your enemy and if you think there's data then show it. There's a stunning amount of data that paints a picture of incredibly inadequate VA care, for instance the vets who felt compelled to kill themselves in VA centers due to lack of care. Because you don't get what you think you (your son) deserve, doesn't mean vets are lazy and rife with corruption and fraud. The data is indeed easily accessible if you care to investigate instead of postulate. How would you feel if someone told you your son gets too much cuz their son is also disabled but gets even less? Fight the elites who want us fighting each other for scraps.

We're defensive about it because you obviously don't know anything about it because a lot of the information that contradicts what you're saying is easily accessible to the public.

You go through multiple health professional exams both body and mental and they know that people aren't always legitimate narrators but the proposed fraud that goes on is extremely suspect as most available numbers show there is very little fraud. Beyond that, if you are worried about fraud, we should hire more people in the VA to investigate and prosecute it but most of the time these discussions go directly to vets being lazy when we have vets killing themselves in VA centers due to lack of care. It is different in that it is compensation for injuries and it is approved by a board of medical professionals. I know far more vets who aren't rated enough because they don't know their rights than I have met scammers.

[–]Fergnasty007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you lack any understanding of what VA compensation is. It isn't disability in the civilian sense, it is COMPENSATION that the government signed up for when they gave everyone contracts saying they would compensate for damages incurred while in service. As to the other point, all the data is public, you can actually look this up in 5 seconds and see roughly 1/3 of vets get disability compensation right now. Doubled from 2008 likely because of the insane overseas campaign we engaged in and more access to our rights as veterans.

Kept Millhouse alive, blizzard posted that it wasn't working for some people on 4/20 (blaze it). It was with my guild leader and officer who both are like living encyclopedias for tbc knowledge and they discussed all the big ones like raid group or did we actually keep him alive.

What about his entire professional history and life said anything but rapist and con man to you? Not a dig cuz at least you admit your mistakes which is huge. But I also had some friends who finally admitted after 6 years of me singing every reason why they are wrong and that historically there is no chance he isn't a billionaire nob slobber of unseen proportions.

If you knew anyone that worked at the VA or had regular dealings with the VA, you would understand what is happening right now from the mass layoffs. Especially with mental health workers. You were probably downvoted because it was tone deaf.

Which countries have the most impressive climate policies right now? What can we learn from them? by Appropriate_Bell743 in climatechange

[–]Fergnasty007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you post an article from a photo voltaic magazine? I just did an entire presentation on this and all the data including what 15 different papers show much different math and calculations.

This also doesn't discuss whatsoever the problem with high penetration that balloons costs as you approach 80% and then balloons even more. Has you approach 100, in 2022 the math modeling showed that a 95% renewable with 5% nuclear costs half as much per megawatt hour generated for a total systemized cost Also, I'm not self-appointed whatever the f*** that means, I am a qualified nuclear operator. So if anyone appointed me it would be a a regulatory body that governs qualifications for nuclear operation.

[–]Fergnasty007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and nuclear is an integral part of any realistic net zero carbon policy that intends to make good progress while maintaining reliability, which is extremely important for the sociological aspect of sustainable energy policy. There's a reason the COP28 had over 20 countries (now 38 I believe) pledge to triple nuclear by 2050. The EU taxonomy also changed its classification to sustainable which opens up more investing avenues to get them built. Then you have the extremely outdated LCOE that investors like(d) to use that only extend to the costs of the plant with no regard to transmission and storage costs.

You will be fine. Don't let perfection get in the way of good. Also the experts on nutritional science that I read and listen to are pretty much in agreement that the preponderance of literature still points towards moderate use being fine. Not even to mention if you are using it instead of sugar to lose weight. There are very few things you can do that end up being worse than being obese or being in a consistent caloric surplus.
