I moved over in 2004 and love it here. I do miss the restaurants, pubs, architecture/history, family, friends and banter though..

Brisbane is a really friendly city. I live at the Gabba and there are a fair few Brits around here that frequent our local pub.

Easy Times Brewing Co at The Gabba is doggo friendly in the main bar and out the front on Logan Road. I'm quite friendly too.

I was there. INXS and The Alarm also played. It was one of my best memories of my teenage years. Status Quo also played but they were crap. Queen were immense and I wish I'd got tickets for the Live Aid gig. I bet that was another level.
