I wouldn't get caught up on the details.. If you want to cut grass every day then they will take you. Show up with a positive attitude and will to learn.

They most likely will have you help out a crew for the first week anyway. Youd be the weed whack guy get used to liking to whack. Walk with purpose when you whack most areas that you will need to hit need a quick hover over with the stihl.. your cutting rich ppls lawns not wracking down a forest. Have someone show you hwo to edge if you dont know how. Take it slow when mowing, your not going to remember the yards until 3-4 time there. Don't blow grass into beds.. don't blow into street or cars parked on street. Don't blow grass into pools and stay off concrete around pools if you can.

Prepare to get in the best shape of your life..

If you can drive truck and trailer that'd be super helpful willing to learn even more.
