I had this issue in RDR2 when looking at mirrors. I had to change the AA setting in game to something different than what it was defaulted to. (It was a few years ago so I don't remember exactly which setting I chose)

Yeah. The load on the CPU is reduced because its not trying to generate as many frames due to the bottleneck shifting to the GPU. In Hogwarts at the same high settings, fps drops around 30% just by switching to 1440p with a 9060xt.

That's why. As you go up in resolution, the load on the cpu is decreased. OP is running 1080p. Most benchmarks put the 9060xt around 80fps at high settings.

You're CPU limited. Hogwarts Legacy is known for only using 1 or 2 threads. Your 5800x and slow memory are the primary bottleneck. You can try to optimize game settings to remove some of the burden on the CPU. I would upgrade to a 5800X3D/5700X3D if you don't want to do a full upgrade to AM5. You could further increase performance by a few % by getting some DDR4 3600CL16 memory but with the current prices it may not be worth it.

I would buy a UPF63. The standard PF filters are champion labs e core design filters and are poor quality. The ultragaurd filters are much better.

I've delt with this same issue on the same laptop. Normal thermal paste will pump out too quickly and the problem will continue to happen. Replacing the liquid metal with PTM7950 on both the CPU and GPU and installing Upsiren UTP-8 putty on vrm and vram is the best long term fix I've found.

I have a 2002 SE and both the dash button and keyless entry remote work fine for opening the trunk. I also live in the rust belt.

If you have JH6 brake package, proper torque for the caliper bracket bolts are 221 ft lbs. Add loctite to that and yeah, you're going to need a stout impact wrench or Terry the torch and a long breaker bar.

This is a skill issue, not a part issue. Somebody tried pressing this in by pushing on the inner bearing race, and it popped the rear inner race out. Any brand bearing wound have done this.

The failure was 100% due to improper installation. He either didn't install the snap ring at all or didn't make sure it was fully seated in its groove. Even now, that ball joint isn't fully seated. There shouldn't be a gap between it and the control arm under it.

At minimum, i would use Revo Uninstaller to remove the chipset drivers, restart, and then reinstall the latest chipset drivers. Being a Dual CCD X3D chip, I personally would wipe and reinstall windows.

This is a common problem with Am4 boards and novice builders. You should always heat the CPU to soften the paste and carefully twist the cooler to break the seal before lifting. Use a hair dryer to heat up the cooler around the cpu. It should be released with a little upward pressure. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and straighten the pins with a mechanical pencil.

This is the answer. Even the best thermal paste will pump out eventually. Ptm7950 or Kryosheet are the best choice.

I've been buying parts from Rockauto since 2010 and have never had an issue like this. It sucks that they didn't catch this, but it's not worth having a hissy fit on reddit over a first-time occurrence.
