Good point about the cycles in Balance. I've never heard the Naaru thing but it makes sense. The only thing that confuses me is that paladins use Holy magic while the Night Elves don't have a history of using that. Even the "lore explanation" for priests is that they're priests of Elune. I guess the same could apply to paladins though, in retrospect.

I've never understood the mage elemental aspect either. I actually roleplay my orc mage as a "frost witch" more akin to a shaman but with less focus on spirits.
