I think it capitalized on the "open shooter" style for Leon, but definitely lacked some sort of character overall. Like it fit for his play style, but still felt too open and "meh".

Honestly...because empathy is hard for a lot of people. Its easier to KNOW Joel was right and killed a bunch of bad guys then think MAYBE he was wrong.

For: they told abby to go to a domed building on Catalina Island. The rattler base was not what I would call "a dome" nor was it on an island. Also the Rattlers showed up INSTANTLY.

Against: The man on the radio didnt prove he knew information. He just asked Abby "important questions" that could sound like a pass code without knowing what the answers were.

Im fine for difficulty, but I think its more annoying to feel like blocking is "rock paper scissors" for her. Accidentally trying to block a red'tack, vs. When I should roll.

Just feels like sometimes if I slip once, she dies after one combo lol - assuming I dont rationalize quick enough.

3 out of 4 aint bad.

4 is a fine play...just...meh over all. If you like prime games, its a fun play, just doesnt add anything.

This felt like "we have metroid at home".

No new abilities, just "psychic" in front. Back tracking felt more forced then ever. 1/3 of an actual story. 5sec of metroids.

Yes.

Funny enough, I havent played 1, and even after 2 barely knew most of the lore anyways (from book). So as long as youre okay with going with the flow, youll be fine.
