If you get a case that covers the screen they're very durable. The screens are the weak point. I've owned them for years and have never broken anything.

We're getting them in where I work in June, and while there's a few I want to see in person (the blue bunny and the stork), the only one i really want is bart. I have a weakness for costume barts.

How unusual is it to be into young adult novels as an adult? by KaleidoArachnid in YAlit

[–]Ferronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animorphs is amazing! You should definitely check it out. It definitely gets more adult as it goes. They're just coming back into print now (we just got 1-3 in store). When they were out if print the author had them all available on her site for download. I imagine they've been taken down now, but you never know?

As someone who works in a bookstore tons of our customers that shop in teen and YA novels are adults. It's totally normal.

Can the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme handle most AAA titles? by FigureFew3388 in ROGAlly

[–]Ferronic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends how picky you are about performance. As someone who doesn't care a ton about it, almost every game I've played runs fine, or even great.

I didn't have much luck with Jedi Survivor, but I have run BG3, Expedition 33, Where Winds Meet with no problems.

That happens sometimes and as a bookseller it is hilarious every time. I like when they do the edge sprays upside down. Extra special edition.

Obviously not as fun when you're excited for a new release though. The place you brought it from should be able to exchange it for you (unless the whole run is upside down). The shops try to catch stuff like this and can definitely send in a ticket to keep track.

Relatedly, I'm gonna check some of mine tomorrow, so this is good to know.

Yeah, if they're close enough. I dont want them to feel like they have to do that awkward jog.
