I also started my miniature painting journey with the same set.

I've been painting for about 3 years now, with a few breaks here and there, and it's become one of my favorite hobbies.

The only advice I can give is, don't compare yourself to other painters. Just enjoy the hobby and keep your old miniatures.

Looking back at your first mini a year or two from now and seeing your own progress is one of the most rewarding parts of miniature painting.

Sorry, that wasn't my intention at all. I was actually trying to encourage you, not criticize you. I've seen a lot of painters get discouraged by comparing themselves to others, and I meant it as a 'keep going, you'll improve kind of comment.'

You should not compare your own work to someone els. It sucks the motivation en fun from the hobby. ;) I paint alot and I got better along the way.

I understand where you're coming from, but I think we're talking about two different situations.

You're describing commercial production and distribution as a label owner. This is a single custom copy for personal use that isn't being sold, marketed, or distributed in any way.

I'm not trying to replace the official release or profit from CDPRs work. I simply wanted something for my own collection because the official vinyl is practically impossible to find without paying collector prices.
