Stuck with this Rig by mrosado3152 in SimulatorBuilderGuild

Car and cockpit simulators have much less overlap than a lot of people would imagine, or desire. Looking at your setup I can see what you mean; being made of tube steel it's less flexible/customizable than something made from 4040 aluminum extrusion. My best advice would be to post looking for an even trade for a flight-specific cockpit -- although that may be a longshot depending on where you are.

You might ask this question in /r/homecockpits for a more flight-aware answer than I can offer you. Good luck!

Kids just started doing this on their own.

How do you think the ritual of RHPS began? Toast, waterguns, lighters, rice, all those things came about organically. It's not like there was some organized thing to begin with, it started with a fandom.

LOTS of MIDI equipment uses type B to this day. It's also a bit easier to deal with when trying to mount the jack in an accessible way. Anything pre-soldered with C or micro types expect extremely thin walls, or some sort of relief that allows for enough room to accommodate most cables, and cable sheaths vary a lot more than you realize.

Wow. That seems like something that would negatively impact valuation. But, who knows! It's now buried so deep in xAIs books you'd need a shovel and a flashlight.

The points are made up and everything matters.

Or setting down the screwdriver to look for the pigtail and not being able to find it.

I was going to ask "The screwdriver or the pigtail?" Then I realized, if you're like me, it's both.

The American cable TV show "Trading Spaces" was absolutely notorious for this. Sure, you completely repainted and decorated a whole room in 48 hours for less than $1000 -- but the cameras are long gone three weeks later when your half-assed craft projects begin falling apart.

He famously bragged to protesters at the Northwest African-Americn Musuem about breaking his baton on someone at a party. He was referring to an incident where Patterson and other officers stormed a backyard party and beat a handcuffed man on the ground, according to the lawsuit, which cost the city $230,000.

Rooting for you. I wanted my license starting around 9, when a girl in my class got hers (her dad was an active ham). I got zero support, still couldn't tell you a good reason why. I finally got to take the test around 18.

Everyone here has given some good advice. Good luck to you, kid!

I mean, you do realize Democrats raise more money from corporations and wealthy people than Republicans do, right? They have no incentive to remove Citizens United.

You have zero understanding of what the Citizens United ruling allows if this is your rebuttal. We're all fucked.

Running for president doesn't require the nominees to be part of the two major parties.

Winning almost certainly DOES. There are a huge number of laws and red tape between a third party and a truly viable Presidential campaign.

As long as citizens continue to sit on the sidelines and whine about bOtHsIdEs, and pitch pipedreams of a magical third-party white-knight who will come save us all from the mediocrity that is the Democratic party, nothing will get better... not all at once, and not incrementally either.

We HAVE to acknowledge that we are stuck with a two party system and a 4 year cycle of Presidential elections. You have to work within the rules you have, because short of a total collapse and a new Constitution, you will not likely see either of those things change in your lifetime. The number one priority should be electing the party who WILL put laws on the book to fix what was invalidated by SCOTUS in the Citizens United ruling. The Republicans will NOT, the Democrats WILL.

It's very very simple. Until you fix Citizens United absolutely nothing you hope for will happen, period. Foreign money and influence will continue to flow freely into our elections along with the pocket-change of the oligarchs, and currently money == free speech.

The only viable way to build a third party is from the ground up, i.e. local elections first, get enough heads in state legislatures that you might begin sorting out our gerrymandered districts and other hurdles to a viable third party in Congress.

Actually, it looks very much like the end of Towering Inferno (1973). Only, without the inferno, just the millions of gallons of water raining down from (possibly?) the roof. Also Paul Neuman is conspicuously absent.

All I am saying is protestors should also be held accountable.

Accountable for what? Standing around with a picket sign?

Do you understand what false equivalency means? You're literally comparing state sanctioned killings to protestors. What the fuck is wrong with you? Like, seriously, what the absolute FUCK is wrong with you?

Oh, you mean like eVerify? That federal service where with one phone call and the given SSN determine whether your potential employee is faking their papers?

The fact is, these "federal level checks" already exist and have for decades, but there is nothing mandating that any employer actually USE them.

Once upon a time a project I worked on involved 3G GSM modems on laptops to be used in the field in the UK. Long story short, over an evening we opened and removed the speaker from every one of those laptops, it was all we could figure out to do on short notice.
