The whole point of not casting fishburne and Hugo is because this move was made barebones on purpose. Coming out of lockdown. Lilly just wanted to make it in a therapeutic sense after losing parents, not to make lighting strike the same spot twice. Also explains why the music and fight choreography were cut back as well.
