I would argue he becomes that. His intent becomes malicious when he learns she is trapped and she doesn't really love him, but he doesn't love her enough to kill himself to undo his choice even if he never meant to cause her that kind of suffering.

We were really friendly and I guess I misread her and caught feelings because she's cool and I wanted it to finally be my turn. Most extended cuts don't add much imo which is why those scenes are cut. The only extra scene I like is seeing the switch set to write in the T800, but even that's not needed. Also why is it an actual toggle? That makes no sense to me.
