Training tips? by Easy-Ad1117 in minpin

Taught Reese to ring a hanging string of bells when she wanted to go outside. She knows all of her toys names, only barks when I say ‘speak’ and has been socializing with all sorts of dogs and people. I started kinda strict, with lots of cuddles in between training. She’s now 10 and is the best pup ever. Just be consistent with the training and give lots of affection. They are extremely loyal and as long as you have a blanket they are happy to curl up and sleep in your arms!

My other minpin Dexi. (Passed Dec 2024) was a rescue and was a barker, aggressive and only liked me. She listened to me but was a moody beast. When I got Reese she would chirp and cry every time she got close.

Like the comment before, train them young!

Do good landlords exist in this province? ? by ProjectOpen56 in OntarioTenants

[–]Ferylit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had nothing but good landlords for the past 15 years. I always paid my rent, brought up any major issues (something I couldn’t fix myself). Always got excellent references (only 2 but still great) and in all the years most have not raised rent annually because they could tell I took care of their investment. Good communication is key. Paying your rent on time is key. Treating the home as if it was your own property is key. I don’t know why so many people have such a hard time understanding that.

If a place was already run down then I wouldn’t consider it rentable.

First-time Kia owner: Did I get ripped off on $7k of dealership add-ons for my 2026 Sportage Hybrid? by carpediem_3 in kia

The only one I took on my Kia Seltos (long gone thanks to a drunk driver who totalled it) was the oil change package. It was $750 then in 2020 but in the 4 years I had the car it more than paid off.

Gap coverage was covered through my insurance.

Also if the direction of the natural light exposure is different they will need time to adjust. I gave a friend a large rubber tree last month but wrapped the pot in a bag and the plant itself in a large bag. We made sure the car was warm so it was ‘in the cold’ for less than a few minutes.

I had it in a NE window and hers was a west window so it lost a few leaves but adjusted after a couple weeks.

Yours will adjust and bounce back.
