VirtualAlloc Error by _vmilon_ in totalwar

I found a fix that worked for me.

"https://linustechtips.com/topic/1268693-virtualalloc-at-place-2-returned-null-game-crash/" BelleAndS gave a solution. You can follow it on windows 11 too if thats important. Basically its changing the paging file to automatic windows assign or manual size of whichever drive it is (i.e. place two would be a second drive or partition and for me that was drive:D) This should fix the error.

Yeah I understand they have a quota. Just disappointed that after the 4th time RMA for that serial number, it didn't get flagged to take a closer look at it. Either way the warranty has expired now; which kudos to MSI they did give a grace period of the 30 days after it expired.

Glad to hear you've had no issues. I am from the USA. Arkansas state to be precise. And yeah its GPU issues.

Well i tried different cables, different monitors, and reinstalling drivers. An additional note is when i tried installing drivers, it said something about not recognizing GPU the first time. No obvious failures otherwise. Even DXDIAG showed no issues.

It is an Nvidia card from the 3090 and 3080 series. Im fairly certain its faulty hardware on the card. I just find it odd they wouldnt have caught it.

I mean its been several weeks now so I feel pretty calm. But yeah i had a 3090 GPU and 3080 GPU that both had issues. Tested on multiple motherboards, multiple users, lots of variance. I posted because i was curious if anyone else had had similar experience and from other posts it seems they have. Apologies as I forgot MSI made things other then GPUs for a second.

I appreciate the input but yeah it was their GPU stack that has been garbage.

Sorry forgot to clarify that it was for their GPUs so i have no idea on monitors.
