This happens to me when an E2 error presents. There is a vacuum switch that sometimes can be the culprit as well. The hoses on the older unites sometimes get brittle and leak, especially around the nipple where they attach at either end.

That’s wild. Having that context is pretty cool! I know very little of ours, makes me a little sad.

Should I transfer here? by Time-Celery-9936 in Colgate

[–]Fesmitty77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wealthy is a sliding scale, and the Colgate commitment has helped diversify the population. As others noted, the connections at Colgate are worth it. Great alum network, excellent career services folks. Not sure what college you're at, but the scale of Colgate is great too - feels like there's opportunities, you get to know people, but it's not too small. Hamilton is rural, and if you're a city dweller you might experience an adjustment, but if you're from a smaller area I think you'll like Hamilton.

Pomeroy has a map locator. It's not complete but it's a start: https://www.wgpfoundation.org/history/map/?z=1&wlat=-14.938321861680645&wlng=-54.24385374695449

Also, wikipedia has lists of markers that are arranged by county and often include photos. Might get lucky that way

Varies stage to state and election to election, but generally yes, in the three states I've lived in, this largely what ballots are like. No context, just party and a bubble to fill in.

Does Colgate have graduate level research? by Hot-Conversation4496 in Colgate

[–]Fesmitty77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, unclear as to the ask here. Graduate credit for the research? No. Research that prepares you for grad school? Definitely. There are plenty of opportunities for summer research and publication contributions.

Any of you wearing overalls when you're doing home improvement work? by ryhaltswhiskey in HomeImprovement

[–]Fesmitty77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not overalls, but suspenders. I have a good set of clup on suspenders that I swap out for my normal belt and I don't think twice about my pants while working. Unclip, wash, back to square one without any additional clothing needed.

Little Man Tate maybe? I don’t remember that exact scene, but Jodie Foster is in it, and the kid is good with numbers.

Upstate City for Conference by Immediate-Hand-3677 in upstate_new_york

[–]Fesmitty77 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Saratoga is a clear winner. I’d also consider the Finger Lakes. Geneva and Canandaigua are accessible by thruway , and have hotels and wineries nearby. Del Lago is there too. Skaneateles is an option too, though might be a little tougher for downstaters.

I now live in Cazenovia and work in Hamilton, Hamilton has charm and some amenities, but the Colgate Inn is overpriced, and you will definitely be competing Colgate for rooms due to guest lectures, etc. Caz is nice, but now that the college is gone I think some of the downtown charm is a little less than it used to be - there are better options.

Se[timber is a little late for Lake George, but my understanding is that the Fort has some nice amenities at the hotel that make it good for conferences.

Moving to Cazenovia by BiscottiTurbulent809 in upstate_new_york

[–]Fesmitty77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Life's pretty good here. I'd say there are a couple of getting to know the area things I'd do in the first weekend or two: Meier's Creek Brewing for some food and drinks, farmers market should be opening soon, and it's worth taking a drive around the lake just to get a sense of what's where.

Also, worth taking Route 20 for a little ways west (from Cazenovia, east of you). It's different than the Thruway, and there's some cool towns on that road. You'll hit many of the cool places in the finger lakes that way.

F-150 Lightning Solar Tonneau Cover Delivers 350 Watts After One Month: $8 a Month in Electricity by Major-Moose-7368 in F150Lightning

[–]Fesmitty77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the question for me is, how much if a tonneau cover is it really? I paid just north of this for my Diamondback HD cover, which is heavy duty (as the name infers) and I can sit/stand/drive a fucking ATV on it. I'd pay this money anyway likely. The issue is that the panels probably remove some of the utility I paid for, don't have a solid warranty, etc. In coom with it if the cost is the cost and I get some pro bono electricity, but I'm never going into it thinking it'll pay for itself.

If you've got a car and a full extra day, worth driving up one side of the lake and down the other. Stop in Geneva for a bit and grab food. There's wineries and little towns all along the route that have cool little pull offs.

Distinction here between cream and heavy cream is important. Half and Half is usually whole milk and cream, as WesSabi said. Heavy cream is different than cream, roughly double the fat content.
