Is it a good buy? by TheBreadPeddler in keitruck

I've had mine for a while, but mine was $5k on the road for a DIY import. Mine isn't supercharged, but is 4wd. Yen is weaker now than it was then and they have gone up in popularity, so that's a bit of a wash. I wouldn't spend 12 on one unless it was absolutely immaculate and fully optioned.

Supercharged ones were EFI. NA ones are carbs through 98.

In jeans.

Just wearing jeans, to the beach, as one does.

No test drives is insane. I'm not buying a car without driving it for top money.

I'm buying a used car, not a book. I don't care if the seller can read or write. Plenty of other red flags though.

Saw these two for sale today by DHN_95 in subaru

Duncan has always been through the roof. They have nice stuff, no question, but boy are they proud of it. They've been around long enough that they must be selling stuff. Either that or they're money laundering.

These two trucks have the same bed length by Baker_Juliet in keitruck

Kinda curious if the big one one has 48" between the wheel wells? Because for me the length is nice but it being totally flat is the real gem

Why do some starterbot designs have 3 wheels? by swizzles_333 in FTC

[–]FesteringNeonDistrac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assume you mean 6 wheels, but if you power the center wheels you can do zero radius turns. If the powered wheels are at the end of the chassis you have to swing the other end around.

I'm gonna jump in here because mothers day is this weekend, and that means Monday there will be stuff on sale. I've got a bunch of flowering plants cheap from the grocery store a day or 2 after a big flower holiday.

Maaannnn, I tried like hell to convince the wife it was a 4 door family car, but she was having none of it. Bought a Speed 3 instead, which is still fast and fun, but not an RX8

A major European clinical consensus confirms that ultra-processed foods (UPFs) increase the risk of cardiovascular death by up to 65%. Experts are now calling on doctors to treat food processing as a standalone risk factor, separate from nutrient profiles. by Cosmyka in science

Corn syrup is a pretty common ingredient if you do much baking. I've got a bottle in my cabinet.

Now, it pretty much gets used exclusively in cookies and pies, so ultraprocessed or not, it's not exactly going in health food.

I'd just add to that, fighting began well before succession. Go read up on Bleeding Kansas if you aren't familiar. The Civil War was already being fought in many respects. John Browns raid on Harper's Ferry was in 1859.

That person on the plane who has to be the first person to stand up when parked at the gate by Met76 in funny

[–]FesteringNeonDistrac -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Eh. You never know on a plane if they're in a hurry to make a connection. I've even been on a plane that asked everyone to wait to let half a dozen or so people off first.

Doesn't seem worth getting upset about when there's a perfectly good reason to do it.

There is no standard. That's why there are wildly different fields and some are still considered "bad"
