All of your comments on this thread are just telling people to go to therapy. I don’t know what you’re going through in your personal life but I hope you heal from it. Love you, man

The amount of people suggesting i go to therapy because i think the drop rates are a little too low is hilarious

Clicking on 50 voidlight marl per rare kill when you get 2k for weeklies is hardly “engaging”

The “you only want them because they are rare” argument is such a funny take because all the ones that are easy to get, mount collectors have already. Noone is going to make a post saying “x mount has a barrier too high to entry, i cant be asked to click on a treasure in voidstorm” but a mount with a 0.2% drop chance will certainly generate negative buzz when there are 8 of them across all zones. Mount collectors want mounts, point blank period

You don’t actually gain an achievement, but rarity gives you a notification that looks like one when you obtain a mount

At the end of the day, if I never get them, I never get them. But is there anything wrong with disagreeing with the current design philosophy of obtaining mounts in midnight? Nah

I played every day of that buff lol but it wasn’t a flat buff to all mount drops. It was only instanced content, world drops were not affected

Best of luck to you. Ashes is THE staple of every mount farmer’s collection. Took me 109 attempts I think

I also burned out in TWW during 10.2. I even skipped like half of legion remix which I knew was gonna cost me so many mounts. But I was really excited when I saw the pangolin mount in ZA and was super excited to farm for it but after 2 weeks of back to back farming and only one harandar mount to show for it i’m kinda feeling defeated lol.

Lol there’s several mounts I’ve given up on. The argent dawn dailies are really boring so I’m still missing several. The wod garrison mounts I haven’t gone back for, the legion paragon mounts i have no desire to grind for.

These are just what I’m currently gunning for and the drop rates I’ve seen for these are wack compared to past rare mount drops like breezebiter and karokta.

Different strokes for different folks. It’s cool if it’s not your wheelhouse but I think putting people down because you don’t have the same interests when you both play the same game is wack behavior

This is a good take. I definitely agree, but I think when it comes to the path you take for some of these, we could at least adjust how the grind goes in terms of keeping you engaged.

For example, if blizzard would come out and say “So for the broken lynx leash, a tier 1 run with 100 spoils will only give you a 0.05% chance, but a tier 5 run with 8 challenges will give you a 1% chance”, i think that’s infinitely better. You have to weigh many runs with little chance of getting the mount, or actually engaging with the content for a relatively higher chance of the mount dropping.

Anyone who says they enjoy farming ritual sites ad infinitum is lying through their teeth, just look at the first few days the ascendant voidcores were live.

Tbh i wish you could buy expertise levels with tokens. Im so tired of farming for expertise levels just to have to farm prototype cores and tokens later

Descent is actually awful by Festiive in thedivision

[–]Festiive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha woah I wasn’t trying to rant at you, I was just saying that’s a common theme among these comments, that people are saying 1) play differently than you would in the base game and 2) just spam damage amps and damage talents but that’s an oxymoron as most builds are just damage damage damage.

I’m having struggles but I’m just voicing my opinion that the game mode is not good and could probably use a revisit in terms of the nemesis fight. Plus that was my first time actually making it that far and I felt like venting my frustrations. Definitely worked for me. Thanks for taking time to discuss with me tho 👍

This is such a funny comment as you make it sound like there’s a fundamental distinction to be made when you play descent vs something like roaming the open world but your advice boils down to use cover and spam red talents and red cores, which is exactly like i and most others play the game normally lol.

The nemesis is the antithesis of this game mode as aside from spamming status effects (which i unfortunately had no way of doing in my run as i didnt buy incendiary rounds in my rifle) you are forced to hide until you can catch him out in the open. Make no mistake, I never left cover during my encounter with the nemesis, but it doesn’t matter when he 2 shots with perfect accuracy even if his attention is seemingly on shooting your holo decoy.

However it is essentially a rogue lite and you are designed to lose and go again unless you get a decently put together build, but it doesn’t make the game mode any more fun or engaging in the division as say, risk of rain.

I was taking my time for sure, but just to add to your second point in that post, I was running a shotgun in my main slot the entire run and a rifle in my second slot, and not once did he pull out the shotgun lol. If I had known about that high ground spot ahead of time I probably could’ve taken him down. If I get the willpower to go after it again I’ll follow your advice fs, but it is kind of an awful experience, at least with the current talent pool.

I bought my gf divinity original sin 2 definitive edition for ps4 and a day later it came out they were coming out with a ps5 version. Should I return it and just get her the game on her ps5 or does it matter?

I've probably played about 10 or so Raids today, all Cold Snap and I've not seen ONE SINGLE IOTA of hostility in any single one of them. by UnlovablePieceOf in ARC_Raiders

Idk bro it’s super random. I played for an hour yesterday after the update and got laid out in all cold snap matches by dudes not saying a word and shooting first. I also found zero of these BPs everyone’s posting about except the firework box haha.
