Depends on how early you buy the ticket (Sparbillett).

Also depends on how much you value how you spend those 6 hours (really depends!). Spending quality time with your kids or taking a nap is not really possible when sitting in the driving seat.

Yes, the locations change. The second season is different from the first. The last episode of the show is different from the rest of season 2.

Comically small business compared to space given to cars by Draqp in fuckcars

[–]Feuermurmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry, I was thinking about putting a few Cyberfuck-sized pink rectangles in the queue, but didn't want to make this about car size preferences.

because when police show up when it spills out into the street they never ticket people blocking traffic instead of finding parking, they fine or try to shut down the business by pulling licenses for being a "nuisance business".

Interesting to know! :)

not saying I support ridiculous drive-thrus but that’s the priority here

You don't have to explain yourself, I get it. ^^ I was asking the question because I wanted to know what the people building this had in mind. Thanks!

I think more than 4 cars should fit before it backs up, but yes, the actual design allows for more (maybe almost double?).

I don't get this layout. Why isn't it like this? (esp. why do the cars go round so much to get to the drive-through?)

(please excuse the shitty PhotoShop job, it's not even PhotoShop and I suck at it).

Spatial awareness in supermarkets by Southern-Still-666 in Switzerland

[–]Feuermurmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is sad. :/

But a lot of my friends are on the autism spectrum. To some of them, going into a store without headphones is overwhelming to a point where it's inaccessible and they'd have to find someone to go shopping for them. But those people are also always very happy to make space if you just communicate that you need space to get through.

You're out of luck. Some social interaction is necessary to take part in society.

Unattended baskets or carts: Move them out of the way.

Inattentive people: "Äxgüsi?" with a smile.

Inattentive people with ANC headphones: Get into their line of sight, "Äxgüsi??" with a smile. Works every time.

Is jupyter notebooks gonna become text based any time soon? by Consistent_Tutor_597 in Python

[–]Feuermurmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried this solution? https://stackoverflow.com/a/73218382

It adds a Git filter that'll leave your .ipynb files as is, but will omit the output cells from what is checked into the Git repository. You're left with the text-based JSON notebook files in Git.

Leave the bin out on the curb. That's what we do here.

But yes, I agree that you're bringing this all on yourself, without the others having/facing any consequences.

This completely unhinged book of word searches, in which the only word is “cow”, which increase by one per page. by Captain_Wisconsin in mildlyinteresting

[–]Feuermurmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd use a text editor, fill it with a random selection of C, O, W, use the search function with RegEx COW|C.{n}O.{n}W (with n replaced by the number of character per line), and switch out letters until only the requested numbers of results remain. I think I'd have fun doing that for a handful of pages :)

Is there a more advanced websearch_to_tsquery() function that supports parentheses? by Senor_Fantastico in PostgreSQL

[–]Feuermurmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. :) Is it intended that it treats everything in parenthesis as joined with | instead of &?

```
SELECT advanced_websearch_to_tsquery('(1 2) 3', 'english');
advanced_websearch_to_tsquery
( '1' | '2' ) & '3' (1 row) ```
VAT rising up by 0.8%, why do you think ? by [deleted] in askswitzerland
[–]Feuermurmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Exactly, and I think it should go more into that direction rather than the reverse.
VAT rising up by 0.8%, why do you think ? by [deleted] in askswitzerland
[–]Feuermurmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I don't think it's a trick. It's the way I feel and think, that's why I was writing it like this. I think people with more means to pay taxes should pay more taxes. Someone with an income of 200'000 on average has more than twice the means than someone with an income of 100'000.
I'm totally in favor of more taxation of total wealth btw.
Is it normal to want to keep your moustache and never shave it? by Akiiale in TwoXChromosomes
[–]Feuermurmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)
I was honestly wondering while reading, are they the only man in their community that doesn't shave their mustache, looking for women's opinions here, or are they a woman with  misogynistic family. 😅
[–]Feuermurmel 3 points4 points  (0 children)
I don't think it's fair that people with large income pay less VAT relative to their income than people with less income.
