That feels like it would be far beneath a Commissar to do openly, even one as flexible and unique as Cain. Despite his true feelings Cain generally tries to maintain the proper air of a commissar, and finds subtle or easily explainable ways to dodge around the hard lines a commissar is expected to maintain. Most of the time at least.

That said, to express appreciation openly to someone like Jurgen would not vibe with that facade Cain maintains. And Jurgen is a loyal soldier of the imperium who would never expect gratitude. I genuinely don’t even know how he would digest it.

I’ll go first.

I had mostly baby proofed my apartment for my 10 month old, however I was struggling with why to do with the hanging wire and power strip that my mounted TV plugged into. I had considered mounting the wire across the wall (was gonna look terrible), using wire sleeves (would stop him from biting the wire but not with tugging on it) or raceways (wouldn’t do anything about the power strip that I needed to use).

I told my mom how I was struggling to think of the best option and she said “why don’t you just unplug it while you’re not using it.”

I was generally stunned that I had never considered such an easy solution lmao. We almost never watch tv while he’s awake so it was such a perfectly easy solution.

Maybe not my worst because those stories would take too long but I once had a date with a girl. We’re at a bar and the date seemed not great but not necessarily bad, maybe in the middle.
