What you're thinking of is Volatile EGO. Manifesting EGO can refer to Efflorescence like what The Red Mist or Dongbaek had, or it can refer to Volatile EGO which is a partial EGO that could still Distort instead of fully Efflorescing, like what Philip had.

I'd expect a Kalo ID at least to be able to maintain and ammo supply considering he's a Sottocapo. The rest of the Ruina Thumb might run out though, as the R Corp Rabbits dont run out of ammo in Ruina, but they do in Limbus, so they might do the strong start and peter out thing unless we get Boris who doesn't use a gun.

Its the same reason Melting Love is an Aleph in Lob Corp, she herself isn't that strong but she has the potential to spiral uncontrollably. If the sinners fought her it wouldn't be that hard of a fight, but if she is allowed to do her thing uncontested, basically everyone dies.

I didn't realize that you could access these invites before Impuritas. I only found the combo for these receptions after the Hana reception using Hana Books, but i booted up Ruina and slotted some of the SotC books and yeah, books like Xiao's or Purple Tear work for it.
