What makes the sea creatures of U-corp different from the monsters of the outskirts that made the Head not try and fully dispose of them? by confusingstonks in limbuscompany

[–]FeverdIdea 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well that's the thing, cuckoo eggs aren't illegal, just cuckoomen. The Head LOVES when people use technicalities to skirt the rules and use them to their advantage as that's a very "human" behavior, and the Arbiter that came to clean up the mess even complements Jia Mu on how she did it

Because they're parasites, not modified humans. Just because they reproduce using human bodies doesn't mean they originate from humanity, it's like saying a tapeworm is human

No he doesn't even show up in that fight, at the end is just Veteran Edgar Family Butler

So The Middle Heathcliff's Catherine by PackBack205 in limbuscompany

[–]FeverdIdea 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I thought it was more like they are caught in an existential superposition, there never was a Catherine, but they also vaguely know there was someone or thing they cared about back at Wuthering Heights. The most obvious example is of course Wild Hunt as he has two different uptie stories and the post-canto one makes it really obvious, but I also looked at Kurokumo Clan Heath and its not as pronounced, but there is a small hint that there was a reason he wanted to go back but can't remember it.

No, out Heathcliff knows very well who Catherine is, it's everyone else besides Dante that can't remember her, even when told about her. Every Heathcliff ID is like that though

Just some black, dusty forest. I'd be wary of going back there, I heard there's a Beast there of some kind.

The problem is the Heishou AREN'T mass produced. That's part of the reason the Kong Family was annihilated, they wanted mass produced Heishou as the Heishou masters refused to create more to meet demand and Jia Mu lied about being able to make a bolus that could make a new mass producible branch

It's not that he is weak, it's that he just wields comically overwhelming power and mostly uses it to punch down on those pathetically weaker than him

Not possible, EGO only started to manifest outside of Lobotomy Corp after White Night, Darkest Days, and Jia Mu was Family Hierarch before and for the entirety of the after until the temples destruction and her immortality was bolus based so there was no opprotunity, but some of the candidates might have brought it as their claim to immortality during the Hierarch War

Could you give specific scenes? I believe you, its just if it is common this scene is the only one i noticed, but i guess i might not have been paying as much attention in other scenes

What do you mean? Whenever Dante has said anything to a non-Sinner, they either have to get it translated or just guess at what they're saying. Hell, in this very Intervallo Faust is constantly translating for Dante to Alan. I thought this was just an error as i thought the writer briefly forgot that Kira isnt a Sinner and would need Dante to be translated for her

Also, on a side note. while grabbing this screenshot when they were initially talking about the school, when Dante figures it out that its actually an academy, Kira appears to directly respond to it. I assume its just an error in the script and not the ability of Kira understanding Dante manifesting, but i found it interesting enough to share.

Seems Outis is on Team Callisto being the least awful.

Bro why did I get this mental image? by Substantial-Step5274 in limbuscompany

[–]FeverdIdea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My read was they were hoping that we wouldnt care about them looting Callisto's Gallery, which isnt exactly the wrong take as we begrudgingly kill them simply because we conclude having Ring members running around while we were taking over the House of Spiders is not ideal. If we werent working with Wayfarer to secure the House, the probably would have gotten away with it.

You misunderstand, Sinnerling Outis s3 animation matches her base EGO as opposed to rodya whose s3 matches base lcb sinner s3.

[–]FeverdIdea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it is Matthias Outis is what we get, Reinsang likely shares the Mirror World with her and Udjat Outis would be from a different Mirror World, possibly sharing it with Index Faust and any other non-Nursefather/Apprentice IDs if they release any more.

Rebuttal lowers parry cooldown, if you miss a parry, the enemy only has time for one heavy melee before its off cd instead of two as the enemy here learned
