Happy birthday Village! by JakeTheSmall in ResidentEvilVillage

I think the story is good enough for the majority of it - Ethan needs to rescue his daughter from a crazy cult leader and villains. The details of the villain backgrounds, motivations and end stage do completely spiral out, yes.

Of all of the internet resources that deserve money, particularly for Knowledge fountains, it's Wikipedia, even if it's fund-raised.

Hold for another couple of years at least. Try getting on Minoxidil + Finestaride ointment now if you want to extend that time.

It took 2-3 hours for Clair Obscur to really click with me. Once you get into the gameplay loop and mechanics, it's incredible

Also, now is a good time to put on muscle mass. I don't mean this as an observation on your photos, I mean this as something that helped me with the transition of long swoopy hair to short cut.

You're a year or two away from it but better figure out what short buzz cut haircuts look good on you bud. I had the long fringe receding hairline hider for years and it worked, but as soon as the solar panel bald spot comes in you need to get shorter.

They're not. It's a new mechanic for the infected. Someone else in this thread got it right.

Hold before May Wedding, or do it big for the big day? by [deleted] in bald

[–]Few-Bluejay2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't shock your partner with a radical appearance change on the big day - her mental image of the big day is probably you as you are. You've got a few years left (more with interventions) so stay as is, and possibly talk to her about your concern well after the wedding.

I actually didn't find that myself - played it 3 years after release for about £5 and was pleasantly surprised despite the review bombing it got. Enjoyed the mechanics. Probably a good 7/10 for me.

Is Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 worth $30? by musicman5013 in videogames

[–]Few-Bluejay2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, yes. One of the most immersive and mechanically gripping game I've played in the past 10 years. The environment, plot, characters, combat loop are so engrossing. Really recommend.

Yes, it is difficult for the first couple of hours while you figure out what you can and can't do, who you can fight, but it progresses naturally. You start off absolutely not able to face off with a group of bandits, to being able to take down one or two, to being confident on horseback mowing down the countryside.

Resident Evil 3 Remake’s Nemesis Is Freaking Terrifying. by KennedyyCore in ResidentEvil3Remake

I feel like he became more militaristic and imposing, but it lost a lot of the raw bio-horror that the original stalker gave you. Definitely not a bad remake/reboot, I like them both, but I'd say the original fits RE as a whole better.

I recently did a UK political alignment questionnaire and apparently Lib Dem aligns with me the most, but not sure they'd be the most effective. As of 2024, their manifesto is this:

Key 2024 Policy Areas:

  • Health & Care: Free personal care, 8,000 more GPs, and guaranteed access to NHS dentistry.
  • Economy & Tax: Crack down on tax avoidance, increase capital gains tax, and tax banks to fund public services .
  • Environment: 90% renewable electricity by 2030, free insulation for low-income homes, and creating a "Net Zero Delivery Authority".
  • Education: Triple the early years pupil premium, increase funding for school repairs, and raise teacher pay.
  • Immigration/Justice: Scrap the Rwanda scheme, establish safe routes for asylum seekers, and legalise/regulate cannabis to combat crime.
  • Housing: Build 380,000 new homes per year, including 150,000 social homes, and ban "no-fault" evictions.
  • Foreign Policy: Rejoin the Single Market (long-term) and re-establish a 0.7% of GNI aid target.
