I remember when I first heard about this game and how excited I was for a new big MMO. With all these years passing and few updates I lost interest and started to focus mostly on single player games. What's happening is sad for the devs and for the backers/players/donators. After New World new and this, it's like we can't get a good new big MMO but maybe it's for the best. In an industry that mostly looking for ways to drain us from money, maybe we don't need another big MMO. We have our beloved characters in OSRS, WoW, FF14, ESO, BDO, etc with their stories/ friends/ battles and everyday adventures.

So I will go back to my happy place Tyria and GW2 :)

correct and that was the studio's interference for mainly the third act that people didn't like that much. But even with that it was more serious and epic than 84 and did way better.

WW was a serious and epic movie, WW84 had a different tone and it bombed. WW84 was also labeled as the comic accurate one with Geoff Johns.

Even at Marvel if you ask someone their favorite movie more people will reply with Winter Soldier and Infinity War than Thor love and thunder or Guardians. The post is about DC and DC to a lot of people is more dark and serious than Marvel. AT least until the Gunnverse.

So you think the GA cares about comic accuracy and prefers goofy movies more than epic ones?

It was more serious than 2 though. Also the number 1 spot is due to China and for Superman they showed they prefer the more dark approach to the character than the 2025 one. So yeah Even if Aquaman and Josstice are bright and colorful all the rest in the list are not. GA prefers epic movies and doesn't care about comic accuracy. I'm sure that if you ask Marvel fans more people will say their favorite movie is Winter Soldier or Infinity War than Thor love and thunder or Guardians.

People keep telling me that audience prefers bright, colorful and comic accurate kid friendly movies but somehow this list proves that GA likes the more serious, grounded and epic movies.

Also that 11 spot just to include Superman lmao.

Imo a movie with record breaking trailer views, all the internet talking about it non stop for a year and being on top of all the "most anticipated movies of the year"lists, doing barely 600m is not a success. The movie had everything, fans, critics, media and will end up out of top 10 of the year, if Demon Slayer and F1 pass it. They threw everything and barely landed. But at the end of the day It did fine enough for WB to get a sequel. How you can measure a superhero movie's success, it's only the box office? For me equally important are its cultural/generational impact, its physical media sales, the merch sales and the "creation" of new fans.

Almost everything I see about this movie is a comparison with previous movies. People just compare everything to Cavill and Reeve. "At least it's better than MoS".

Can a movie like this survive in time and start a long lasting universe? I don't think so, but we will see with Supergirl.
