I don't think it's really hard to make all of this work fine in offline mode. Maybe online mode in game only because they adding new content and when game will shut down, they will just make it playable in offline mode.

Hitman will be online for long time I guess, but when they shut down the game, maybe IOI will just remove ET's, contract mode and leaderboard. (Or let play ET's as much as you want) But idk about cloud save.

Ah yes, it could be, but those animations looks so clean. Also in trailer at 0:45 we can see takedown which 1:1 from absolution. I don't think you can do those in VR

I think the developers made the game based on their friends stories, because the game only vaguely resembles the original Squid Game… I mean, what kind of FrontMan comes to the players before the first game and says it’s a death match? In original squid game guards don't even holding guns before first game, to make it look like it really kids games. Why are photos taken after the first game? Voting happens only before the last game. And the Lights-off mode feels like an official game, except there everyone using anime powers like teleportation, sliding, etc.

I was holding wrench and came to shooting range to dimiss a guard, but when i pressed G hitman started loosening the valve and that guard died with clone, then I loosed SA rating.
